But try as I might, I cannot find part 7. If someone sends me that part, I'll review that story as soon as possible. Second Note: I recently received an e-mail message telling me about a "really great porn web site." To my dismay, I received an identical message at a different address, which I never use for my a.s.s. activities. The same message also showed up on my daughter's account. This was clearly a spam message; and it's the sort of thing that needlessly riles the censorship people; and it makes it seem that they may have a valid point. It should be obvious that I am in favor of freedom of speech, and I can understand why a person would want to advertise a web site. But isn't it reasonable to advertise to the millions of people who are already interested in this stuff and to leave the others alone? My argument against Senator Exon and his ilk is that we porno people are doing no harm. We just want to be left alone with the other perverts here on the Internet. This argument holds a lot less strength when people start sending porn spam to people who have expressed no interest in it. Someone may reply that for all I know my daughter may have gotten to a porn newsgroup without my knowledge. That may be true; but I am absolutely certain that my other account has never been used in connection with any porn service. If you have any moral persuasive force with these spammers, I encourage you to urge them to be more careful where they send their spam. It's just a matter of common sense and courtesy. - Celeste "Better Loving Through Chemistry" by The Bear (college sex romp) 8, 8, 8 "A Long Day" by J. "Better Loving Through Chemistry" by The Bear (thkbear@earthlink.net). Jenny is a college girl who is usually overlooked at frat parties in favor of hotter babes that attract the young studs who frequent such activities. Her friend Carol sprays her with a perfume that she has developed as her chemistry project. Sure enough, one of the cavemen at the party dances with Jenny and then drags her upstairs and fucks her. Then the rest of the guys fuck her while she sleeps. Being a virtuous girl, Jenny suggests that Carol change the dosage, so that she can remain conscious and enjoy it the next time she is gangbanged. But these are college students. They believe in controlled experiments. Of course, to Carol this concept refers to chaining Jenny to the bed, so that she will be controlled the next time Carol uses the chemicals and experiments with her. One can only wonder what a placebo or double blind experiment would entail. But Jenny does look good in chains, and so I guess we should allow a little slack in scientific terminology, especially since Carol takes copious notes while molesting her friend. Anyway, our young heroines put the pheromones to good use, integrating chemistry with sports to win basketball games and with English to get a couple of A's and to wreak revenge upon a group of snobbish sorority bitches. The Bear who wrote this story is not the same Bear who wrote such stories as "Kathy" and "Kate and Me." I added this story to my list for reviewing because the plot sounded like an interesting idea. As soon as I started the story I became skeptical, because the story was about pheromones as sexual attractants; but the author consistently misspelled the word as "phermones." This is not deep stuff, but it's an interesting story with lots of sex. Ratings for "Better Loving Through Chemistry" Athena (technical quality): 8 Venus (plot & character): 8 Celeste (appeal to reviewer): 8 "A Long Day" by J. Boswell. This is not exactly a hot sex story; it's a big buildup to a raunchy punch line. The cowboy comes upon a woman who has lost her family and has been raped by Apaches. She tells him her story; but you'll have to read the story to see what happens. Ratings for "A Long Day" Athena (technical quality): 9.5 Venus (plot & character): 8 Celeste (appeal to reviewer): 8 "Bracelet of Love" by Stephanie (stephanie@nym.alias.net). The woman buys an old bracelet that turns out to be magic. She had been beautiful before; but when she puts the bracelet on, she becomes the embodiment of feminine sensuality. This all happens within the first 449 words of the story; there are 11,597 words left in the story. What will happen next? Well, for one thing, the bracelet has the immediate but indirect effect of making the husband's penis become engorged with blood. Imagine that. This is an amazing story! I'm not going to tell you more details except to say that the main effect of the bracelet is to turn the wearer not necessarily into an idealized woman, but into an idealized lover for the person who happens to be closest to the wearer. Oh, and the wearer cannot take it off; someone else has to remove it. As my Canadian sisters say, interesting possibilities, eh? Or, as the wife says in the story, perhaps it isn't a good idea to experiment with the bracelet in a hotel." Ratings for "Bracelet of Love" Athena (technical quality): 10 Venus (plot & character): 10 Celeste (appeal to reviewer): 10 "Hell Hath No Fury" by Satan Penguin (spenguin@freenet.edmonton.ab.ca). Shakespeare based most of his plays on the tales and legends with which his audiences were already familiar. To accomplish this, he must have had a prodigious knowledge of the classics and of folk legends. The present author likewise bases this story on information with which he expects his audience to be familiar. In other words, he displays a prodigious knowledge of the Archie series of comic books and newspaper cartoons. Stan, the protagonist of this story, comes from a planet called Elad-Revir, H'trae. This planet is a close parallel to earth, and the city is closely parallel to Riverdale, the home of Archie, Veronica, Betty, Jughead, and their comic book friends. If you haven't made the association yet, you may want to read Elad-Revir, H'trae backwards and see if you can notice its relationship to Riverdale, Earth. If you can see no connection, you are not smart enough to read this story. This could be described as a Utopian - or anti-Utopian - story. It combines comic book characters with a focus on adolescent sex to deal with concepts that Orwell dealt with in "1984 "and Skinner dealt with in "Walden II": what is the best way to run a perfect society - to get individuals to contribute willingly to the good of the greater society? Stan is the quintessential Renaissance man, modern scientist and engineer, and sexual aficionado all rolled up into one. He's almost too good to be true- which is OK, because, after all, this is a comic book episode. As I neared the completion of Chapter IV (which is all there is right now), I paused and pondered the title. I had assumed it was excerpted from the expression "Health hath no fury like a woman scorned." But no woman had been scorned, and the prospects for scorning were low. Maybe the title was a simple description of the lack of overt hostility in hell. The Church Lady would certainly notice that Stan himself was one vowel short of Satan; could that be relevant? I really don't know where the story is going. There are numerous unresolved subplots - none of which have any apparent relation to hell or its fury. Reggie has been plotting to seize a share of Stan's wealth. One of the sex slaves is developing a genuine (non-slavelike) attraction for Stan. Sabrina is trying to integrate her witch essence with her human existence. Veronica and Betty have discovered the joys of hedonistic sex with each other and with other lovely ladies. All the members of the gang (especially the genius Dilbert) have started getting in a little over their heads with sex with sex; and who knows what to make of the lovely ladies whom Stan has so adeptly trained to service himself and his friends? And there's much more. I am impressed with the overall quality of the writing and with the attempt to merge the consistent Archie story line with more complex sexual idea, but I am also a bit disappointed that I have read this far and don't yet know where the story is going. I guess I'll have to wait and see what happens next. Its sort of like reading the funny pages! Ratings for "Hell Hath No Fury" Athena (technical quality): 10 Venus (plot & character): 9 Celeste (appeal to reviewer): 9 "I Learn to Think" by Estragon (rgt@well.com). I nearly died laughing while I read this story. I have never been an adolescent boy, but this HAS to be how they think when they encounter the first intelligent and attractive female who has authority over them. The story is written in the format of a journal for a philosophy class - a class that discusses how people think. Sounds boring; but it's not. The author comes up with some bizarre insights that are so crazy that they simply MUST be true. The last line of the story says "end of part one"; but I almost hope there is no more - why ruin something that's almost perfect by adding to it? {That last sentence sounds like something I once wrote in my own philosophy journal.} Instead of making this story three times as long, I would really like to see this author tighten up the ending and leave it at approximately the same length. Then publish it in a philosophy magazine - like Playboy or Redbook or maybe Cosmopolitan. One interesting thought that is NOT explored in the story is the fact that since the journal is written FOR Ms Altman, then she'll obviously have to read what the writer has written; and it's fun to speculate about what her reaction will be. Incidentally, my favorite philosophical cartoon may be apropos here. It shows a philosophy professor writing on the chalk board, "I think, therefore I am." The student in the back row leans over and whispers to the scholar next to him, "Oh, no! We don't even exist!" Think about that one, Ms Altman! Ratings for "I Learn to Think" Athena (technical quality): 10 Venus (plot & character): 10 Celeste (appeal to reviewer): 10 "Sister Mary Jean's Struggle" by Linda Jean (lindaj@cris.com). Some interesting things do happen in this story. For example, as a 12-year-old, the future ex-nun who narrates this story learns about sex by watching two older girls go at it with carrots and cucumbers. {There's a whole web page of jokes about nuns like that. Why did Sister Mary Jehosephat get kicked out of the convent? For doing pushups in the cucumber patch. How many nuns does it take to screw in a lightbulb? Just two; but it's difficult to get two nuns and a cucumber inside a lightbulb in the first place. Etc. } The basic problems with the story are that it has no coherent plot and that it's largely illiterate. The author apparently ran it through a spellcheck; but that just turned some of the spelling mistakes into usage bloopers. For example, the girl watches the other girls masturbate in her "secrete place," which, I presume, would be a place where she oozes through the walls. Why is this plot set among nuns? Well, because nuns have that legendary evil innocence, I suppose. Actually, the author explains her rationale in her disclaimer with the following non sequitur: "I want to document what has happen to me over the last 13 years. Second- maybe some girl thinking of becoming a nun like I did may just think twice if she finds sex to be what she desires most in life like I do!" Go figure. I would make my pitch in defense of nuns - actually, they are fairly normal people, etc.; but a correspondent once told me that was like telling the late night comedians to stop telling offensive jokes about Jehovah's Witnesses and the Amish. According to his theory, about as many nuns are going to read this story and become offended as Amish are going to watch Jay Leno and get offended by Amish jokes. If you want a story that treats nuns in a sexy but literate manner, try Wollstonecraft's "The Novice," Uncle Mike's "The Flying Nun," or Ann Douglas's "Sarah and Sister Theresa." Ratings for "Sister Mary Jean's Struggle" Athena (technical quality): 4 Venus (plot & character): 4 Celeste (appeal to reviewer): 4 "Kira's Postnatal Obsession" by Murgen (jeeforse@freenet.edmonton.ab.ca). The author, Murgen the Dragon Slayer of Khatovar, concludes this story with these words: "This is my first story ever so I would like some feedback thanks." Earlier, in the disclaimer, Murgen spake thus: "I don't give the slightest of a damn if anyone under the age of 18, 19, or 21 reads this story because I the original writer am get this 15. So fuck all you censors I will write what I want. Nyah! =O) My main feedback is: Proofread the story before you post it. If you don't do so, your writing will appear to be that of a 9-year-old American male. If you use a spellcheck alone without proofreading, you will write sentences like this one: "The inner walls of her vagina were mush like her stomach." Readers will be needlessly distracted by the image of vagina walls composed of a thick porridge or pudding of cornmeal boiled in water or milk. Likewise, readers will be confused by the reference to "the shy pale ensign from the engineering core." In addition to proofreading the story yourself, you should share it with someone who will politely point out your errors, so that you won't make an ass of yourself by publishing inane drivel. On a kinder note, I should add that the story has considerable potential. For example, I can see the fascination of reading about the sexual exploits of a hormonally imbalanced space cadet with six clitorises and two nipples on each breast but only one asshole. Walter Slaven wrote about similar creatures in his wonderful "Tie Fighter" series, which I ranked among the very best stories of 1995. My point is that if a person wants to be a writer, he or she has to do a little more than think up neat ideas in his or her own little head. It is necessary to express these thoughts in a way that enables readers to care about them and to conjure up in their own minds the same images. Actually, it is of some interest to reflect on the age of this author. If we assume that the author is really from Khatovar, we would need more information; surely there is a web site somewhere that would enable me to convert Khatovarian years to Earth years. My suspicion, however, is that this author is not really from Khatovar, but is actually an Earthling. My analysis of the grammar further suggests a male author of North American ancestry - or perhaps a Hungarian. Furthermore, a person who would lie about his planet of origin would also be likely to lie about his time of origin; and hence it is unlikely that we can accept the assertion of 15 years at face value, even though it is followed by the enigmatic Nyah! =O). On the other hand, the hypothesis that this story was indeed written by an early adolescent is supported by the fact that the author seems to be incapable of realizing that the reader may not initially have the same perspective as the writer. Teenagers do this a lot. For example, a more mature author would probably assume that we needed to know who the O'briens are and some other basic information regarding what in the world is happening in this story. The author could get pissed off and pout over these comments. On the other hand, the author (and others like him/her) could accept these suggestions in the friendly manner in which they are offered and use them as a basis for becoming a real author. Ratings for "Kira's Postnatal Obsession" Athena (technical quality): 5 Venus (plot & character): 4 Celeste (appeal to reviewer): 4 "The Journey" by John Carter (John_Carter@docs.dgsys.com). This story is set in the world John Norman created -- Gor. I don't know what that means. I assume it's either a primitive or a post-apocalyptic world. The only action in the story consists of a herd of captive women being escorted from one place to another, where the protagonist will meet her Lord. Along the way her short-term caretakers are not allowed to have vaginal sex with her (she has some sort of chastity belt to prevent that), but they have exuberant oral and anal sex with her without fear of recrimination from the Lord. The woman's mind is fogged by some sort of drug; she feels a mixture of pleasure and shame from the sexual encounters. I suppose the enjoyment is supposed to come from figuring out what these primitive people are doing. The men apparently have no responsibility other than to have sex and to deliver the women to the Lord. The women serve the men. Imagine that. Ratings for "The Journey" Athena (technical quality): 9.5 Venus (plot & character): 8 Celeste (appeal to reviewer): 8 "Fame" by Uncle Mike (fr582@cleveland.Freenet.Edu). This story is based on the movie and television series of the same title; but knowledge of those shows is unnecessary. This story about a teacher and student rehearsing for a dance performance stands on its own. It is replete with arpeggios, counterpoints, dramatic leaps, abrupt pirouettes, and other subtleties that rarely occur in light-hearted sex stories. Once the sweat kicks in and the music charges the emotions, Miss Grant begins to look literally lewd and lascivious in her lovely, lithe, and luscious little leotard that covers her palpably pulsating pussy while her pupil plays the piano. Lost in a delightful daydream about driving his desperate dick into the dark cunt of his teacher and fatefully fantasizing about her eyes flashing during the forthcoming fellatio, Bruno strikes a heavy chord when he would have preferred to remove her g-string, and his faux pas draws the teacher's attention to his engorged love wand and reminds her that perhaps he has a different form of rhapsody on his mind. As Miss Grant changes into her costume behind the portable blackboard, Bruno realizes that her taut brown body is naked before him but for that one obstruction, and he tries to regain his composure by concentrating on the middle arpeggio while stroking his middle appendage. To make a long story brief, shortly after Miss Grant praises him and encourages him to just keep it up, Bruno comes wildly in his pants while the devilish dancer accidentally brushes against his beleaguered body. As he finishes the piece, she moves away and comments, "Perfect tempo, Mr. Martelli, but you finished too quickly." More practice seems to be in order - but only after she checks and tunes his instrument. Damn! He'll have to tell his mother the teacher kept him after school. A faux pas occurs! This is a school for the gifted. Shouldn't "I never thought a teacher could suck cock so good" be more fittingly rendered, "I had not realized that a teacher could fellate so felicitously"? This is an exceptionally well-written story. The description and integration with the musical theme was so well done that I practically came just reading about the dance scenario - before there was any actual sexual contact. Then the actual sex was even more vivid. I strongly recommend this story! Ratings for "Fame" Athena (technical quality): 10 Venus (plot & character): 10 Celeste (appeal to reviewer): 10 "Helping Hand" by Dulcinea (Dulcinea97@aol.com). I'm a sucker for sexy, romantic stories. And so this story labeled (m/f, cons, rom Fun) caught my attention. I guess a story about a quickie should be short. And to the point. And climatic. This one is. Ratings for "Helping Hand" Athena (technical quality): 10 Venus (plot & character): 10 Celeste (appeal to reviewer): 10 "Duty" by Uther Pendragon (nobody@REPLAY.COM). This author has learned to write like a behavioristic teacher. We teachers say things like, "Do you want to read Hamlet or Macbeth next?" Actually, if they had to read at all, our students would prefer to read Stephen King or maybe Sports Illustrated or probably TV guide. But it's best to give them the illusion of control. And so the lieutenant says to the peasant woman, "Do you want me to rape you here in the main square while the men use cattle prods on you, or would you prefer to go inside the house and be my sweetheart? Macbeth looks shorter, and there probably are no cattle prods in the house, and there's no chance of getting out of the assignment anyway, and so she becomes the lieutenant's sweetheart pro temp. The lieutenant is a graduate of the School of the Americas - not the one in South Bend where they play football, but rather the one that the CIA operates to train freedom fighters for Latin America. I'm sure some readers will enjoy this story of a terrorist officer exploiting a peasant woman as "really great sex." I found it to be a genuinely realistic portrayal of a real asshole. Sacre vache! (as the French say) - when I looked at the alphabet soup after this story's title, I was a bit startled. TG, mf, cd, blackmail, dom, (bond), (mm). As I understood it, I was in for a transgender story that involved male-female sex, cross-dressing, blackmail, dominance, and bondage, with a male-male finale. I wondered if the author had forgotten to make reference to the two nuns who had just fucked with a German shepherd when they walked into a bar. Actually, this part about the nuns isn't very realistic; the second nun almost certainly would have ducked after she saw the first nun walk into the bar. Anyway, after that description I thought I had a pretty good idea what I was in for. When I discovered in the first 100 words or so that the man's wife used to be interested in a guy who was a cross-dresser and that the wife's sister-in-law was a flirtatious sex maniac, I knew I had the story pretty well sized up. Another hundred words, and I had guessed the ending - or so I thought! To make a long story short - I blew it. For one thing, I didn't know about the anal sex at night in the middle of the football field. This is a clever, but strange story; but I suppose that's what the word Deirdre in the title line is an abbreviation for. Ratings for "Dress" Athena (technical quality): 10 Venus (plot & character): 9 Celeste (appeal to reviewer): 9 * "Drop" by Deirdre. A woman has been rudely dumped by her boyfriend, and the woman's son tries to console her. After venting her rage against the boyfriend and his new flame, the mother convinces the son to go with her to a vacation resort. I thought I was getting good at predicting Deirdre's endings, but I blew this one badly. Since I don't want to ruin the possibility of your being surprised, I won't tell you any more. Ratings for "Drop" Athena (technical quality): 10 Venus (plot & character): 10 Celeste (appeal to reviewer): 8 * "Dunes" by Deirdre. A beautiful woman catches the attention of two men on the beach. Both are heterosexual, and one of them is married (or at least in a permanent relationship with a woman). The goddess draws them to a secluded area and then offers to have sex with them if she can first watch them having sex with each other. What will they do? How will this affect the man's relationship with his wife/lover? This is a strange but fascinating story by Deirdre, who was Sherwood Anderson in a former life. Ratings for "Dunes" Athena (technical quality): 10 Venus (plot & character): 10 Celeste (appeal to reviewer): 10 * "Easy" by Deirdre. A man's wife surprises him by asking him to shove his cock up her ass. Then she surprises him further by the ease with which the husband is able to make the backdoor entry. This leads him to be suspicious that she's not exactly new at this approach. The wife admits that she and her college roommate used to do it with a dildo; and as luck would have it, this same woman is coming to visit this very weekend. Imagine that. Ratings for "Easy" Athena (technical quality): 10 Venus (plot & character): 8 Celeste (appeal to reviewer): 7 * "Entertainment" by Deirdre. There's a moral to this story. Don't let the stripper handcuff you to a chair before she gives you a demo of the dance she plans to do at your fiance's bachelor party - at least not unless you want to spend the rest of your sexual life eating the cunts of her and her friend, running their errands, and being a general sex slave. But I already knew that. Heck, I thought everybody knew that! Ratings for "Entertainment" Athena (technical quality): 10 Venus (plot & character): 8 Celeste (appeal to reviewer): 8 * "Everything" by Deirdre. This is the worst story Deirdre has ever written. Even Homer nods; or as Yogi Berra might say, even Nod homers. Most of Deirdre's stories have a weird plot to them, but this one is a disorganized conglomeration of weird sexual activities, with an emphasis on bondage and anal sex. The story is told from the viewpoint of a woman whose friends support her through a difficult divorce; then as the title says, they do "everything" with her. Ratings for "Everything" Athena (technical quality): 10 Venus (plot & character): 7 Celeste (appeal to reviewer): 4 * "Exam" by Deirdre. A man goes for a medical checkup; but he discovers that the doctor and nurses are engaging in some kind of perverse sexual activities. Being an upright and honorable man, he leaves; but he meets a neighbor on the way out of the office. Not being so upright and honorable after all, he accepts a blow job from her and accepts a ride with her to a strange house, where even stranger things go on inside. Ratings for "Exam" Athena (technical quality): 10 Venus (plot & character): 8 Celeste (appeal to reviewer): 6 * "Experiment" by Deirdre. Ah! Another mad scientist is at work in the laboratory of Deirdre's mind. This one finds out that one of her female students is attracted to a cheerleader, and the scientist promises to turn the cheerleader over as a sex slave if only the student will make love to the mad scientist. Sounds good? Read on! Ratings for "Experiment" Athena (technical quality): 10 Venus (plot & character): 10 Celeste (appeal to reviewer): 10 * "Fashion" by Deirdre. A man is introduced to a fashion model by a relatively plain woman. He marries the model but then has an affair with the woman who introduced them. The sex with the plain woman is even more exciting than that with the exotic model. This is a completely different type of story than I am used to seeing from Deirdre. There is no hint of mind control, and the story scores low on the kinkiness scale. It's really a good, interesting story of a romance. An excellent story! Ratings for "Fashion" Athena (technical quality): 10 Venus (plot & character): 10 Celeste (appeal to reviewer): 10 * "Field" by Deirdre. A college girl shares an apartment with her girlfriend. The girlfriend acquires a boyfriend, and he moves in with them. The boyfriend and girlfriend split up, and the girlfriend goes home to mother, leaving the original girl and the former boyfriend living together - but not sexually involved. The boyfriend decides to play the field for a while. Pretty soon there are women marching in and out of the boyfriend's room. This confuses the original girl, because the boyfriend strikes her as rather bland. Pretty soon the boyfriend's women are multiplying faster than rabbits with calculators and are overflowing the apartment. Then the girlfriend comes back and asks if the boyfriend has been seeing anyone. This story certainly held my attention! Ratings for "Field" Athena (technical quality): 10 Venus (plot & character): 9 Celeste (appeal to reviewer): 9 * "Fixup" by Deirdre. The boss's wife seems to be jealous of the female employee. She invites the employee over and tries to fix her up with a date. When the boss takes the employee home, they double back and peek in through the window and see the wife and the other young man making out. Just when the story starts, it stops! It certainly leaves a lot to the imagination. Ratings for "Fixup" Athena (technical quality): 10 Venus (plot & character): 7 Celeste (appeal to reviewer): 5 * "Flight" by Deirdre. The husband and wife go on a plane ride, and the husband casually inserts his hand inside his wife's clothes. The stewardess notices. Now what will Deirdre do with this setup? Actually, it was pretty tame. Not a bad story, just tame and peaceful sex. Are we going to tolerate this? No! This calls for the Second Annual Celestial Story Contest. Simply write a short story based on the following premise: "Once in flight, we flipped up the arm rest between us and I lay against Jay who lay against the wall. It was nice like that and I spread Jay's coat over us like a blanket. We had hours of night-time flying in front of us. Jay held me in his arms. I felt him slip his fingers into the waist of my pants. He slowly fingered me. I opened my eyes. I felt that feeling growing inside me. "The stewardess walked by. It was so strange to have Jay fingering me right there in front of someone. Jay withdrew his fingers and I could tell he was sleepy. Soon I could feel that he was sleeping. I slipped my own fingers where his had been. I fingered so slowly. I wanted that feeling, more and more. The stewardess came back and stopped. I stopped my fingers, laying there frozen. She looked right at me and then smiled." Rules: Enter as often as you like. You CAN alter the exact wording; as a matter of fact, I think it would be NECESSARY to modify the text to suit a particular story. The key components are man and wife on plane, woman fingers herself, stewardess notices. Send entries to Celest801@aol.com. Winner will be announced on December 9. This deadline is now past (since this is a repost of this review); but feel free to enter anyway. If necessary, I'll revoke the original prize or award a new one. Don't get me wrong. The story is already a good one; and there's nothing wrong with quiet, peaceful sex. But this just sounds like a setup that someone would like to finish in a different way. Ratings for "Flight" Athena (technical quality): 10 Venus (plot & character):8 Celeste (appeal to reviewer): 7 * "Foreign" by Deirdre. A woman finds herself attracted to the Asian teenager who lives next door and who has been a guest in her swimming pool. She fights the urge to act upon this attraction, but then the girl's older sister intervenes. Those Asian babes are impossible to resist! Ratings for "Foreign" Athena (technical quality): 10 Venus (plot & character): 7 Celeste (appeal to reviewer): 7 * "Found" by Deirdre. A woman's boyfriend undergoes hypnosis in her presence, and she finds out (1) that her boyfriend loves her and (2) that he would really like to whip her. Her friend debates with her the rights and wrongs of accepting the whipping. Like most of Deirdre's stories, this one has a surprise ending; but unlike most of her stories, this one is perfectly plausible in real life. Ratings for "Found" Athena (technical quality): 10 Venus (plot & character): 9 Celeste (appeal to reviewer): 9 "Four" by Deirdre. Do you remember the first time you were invited to a dinner party at which the husbands were bound naked in the basement while the wives had a delicious meal in the dining room? And do you remember how much fun the girls had with the leather strap afterwards, and how much the guys seemed to enjoy it? And do you remember the great sex you had with your husband the rest of the night after you got home and how much he looked forward to the next dinner party? And do you remember how shy you were the first time about getting naked yourself at the dinner table but how you eventually got into things and were easily willing to diddle the hostess's clit, even though you remained timid about eating her out? Neither do I, but Deirdre makes this bizarre story seem believable. Ratings for "Four" Athena (technical quality): 10 Venus (plot & character): 9 Celeste (appeal to reviewer): 8 * "Freebie" by Deirdre. A woman gives her husband for his birthday five coupons that say: "Give this ticket to Jeannie Greene and she will immediately and silently perform one oral sex act on her knees, any time, any place, no questions asked." Interesting premise! Read the story to find out what happens to the tickets. Ratings for "Freebie" Athena (technical quality): 10 Venus (plot & character): 10 Celeste (appeal to reviewer): 10 * "Friend" by Deirdre. A woman finds it to be stimulating when her girlfriend rubs lotion on her at the beach. This is one of those interesting snippets that just doesn't go anywhere. Ratings for "Friend" Athena (technical quality): 10 Venus (plot & character): 7 Celeste (appeal to reviewer): 5 The following are the stories that resulted from the "Flight" contest that I mentioned above. I gave first place to Stephanie for the story reviewed below. The other two finalists (reviewed immediately afterwards) were also excellent stories. I was happy to be able to stimulate three good writers to write such excellent stories. I encourage the authors to post (or repost) the stories for everyone to read. If anyone else wants to try an adaptation of this interesting theme, I am authorized to accept late entries. * "Flight" by Stephanie (stephanie@nym.alias.net). This author was also the winner of the First Celestial Story Contest. As such, she probably had one strike against her going into this contest: I felt a slight urge to spread the honors around by letting someone else win. Another strike against her was that I knew she writes TG stories; and so when the stewardess went down on the narrator, I had a sneaking suspicion that she was really a he. On the other hand, Stephanie had the major advantage of being a very creative person and of handling herself quite well with two strikes against her. Even though I "knew" what was going to happen, I was surprised over and over again. I found it to be particularly interesting that she was able to integrate this story with her previous "Locksmith" story, which won the First Annual Celestial Story Award. As the present story ended, I received the distinct impression that I was being set up for a Third Annual Celestial Story entry, even though she cannot possibly know what that lead-in will be. No problem, even when I think I know exactly what Stephanie is going to do, I still have no idea what she is going to do. Ratings for "Flight" Athena (technical quality): 10 Venus (plot & character): 10 Celeste (appeal to reviewer): 10 * "Wonderful Journey" by Kid Dynamite (na109288@anon.penet.fi). This story reeks with hot sex, in spite of the fact that nothing much really happens. This author does an exceptionally good job of building and maintaining sexual tension. As you may recall, the original stimulus for this contest was a story by Deirdre that I said left too much to the imagination. This present story also leaves almost everything to the imagination, but now the imagination is more thoroughly stimulated. An excellent story. Ratings for "Wonderful Flight" Athena (technical quality): 10 Venus (plot & character): 10 Celeste (appeal to reviewer): 10 * "Seen by Air" by Rajah Dodger. The story continues with the woman falling asleep and awakening to the voice of the stewardess in a darkened cabin: "Do you have a fever?.. You look hot." Her bedside manner does nothing to cool the woman down. Shortly thereafter, the woman goes to the bathroom and returns to find the stewardess in her seat, next to her sleeping husband. And then... You'll have to read the story yourself to find out. Ratings for "Seen by Air" Athena (technical quality): 10 Venus (plot & character): 9 Celeste (appeal to reviewer): 9
