This is an absolute bargain. Second note: The people who write these stories do not get paid for doing so. Their main motivations for writing these stories are (1) the inherent pleasure that comes from writing a good story and (2) the feedback they get from readers. Plus - I guess the activity can improve their sex lives. I strongly urge you to take the time to communicate with the authors. You don't have to have cybersex with them; just tell them what you think of their stories. If you like a story, send a note to the author and tell him/her what you thought of the story. If you do this once a month or so, you'll make the lonely recluses who write these stories feel good, and you'll increase the probability that we'll continue to see good stories on a.s.s. - Celeste "Japanese Garden" by Mary Anne Mohanraj (emerging sexuality) 10, 9, 9.5 "Victoria's Secrets+" by Unknown Author "Western Adventure" by Jimbo (historical romance) 9, 8, 8 "Bob and Carol and Jack and Jill " by Darryman (sexual horror story) 10, 10, 10 "A Sexy Camping Trip" by Unknown Author "Summer Sizzler" by Phaerie "Hello In There" by Mark Aster (casual sex on a train) 9, 9, 9 "The Candyman" by Ovid (voyeurism) 10, 10, 10 "Tammy On The Big Screen" by Tammy Ng (surrealistic sex fantasy) 10, 9, 9 "Japanese Garden" by Mary Anne Mohanraj (moh2@midway.uchicago.edu). The girl and her boyfriend have gone to visit a museum, and afterwards they have wandered off to the garden for a makeout session. After some interesting developments (which I cannot disclose without ruining the story for you), they are forced to retreat to her dorm room to conclude their activities. Some of the best parts of this story are the narrator's retrospective comments on her previous relationships and the way she integrates these insights with the present story. Ratings for "Japanese Garden" Athena (technical quality): 10 Venus (plot & character): 9 Celeste (appeal to reviewer): 9.5 "Victoria's Secrets+" by Unknown Author (Sextales). This is my second appeal. If I don't hear from someone soon, I am going to stop reviewing Sextales, since I am reluctant to write detailed reviews if no readers will have access to these stories. I found this story and the next among a set of 55 stories that I downloaded as a zip file from a.s.s. several months ago. The stories are generally of very high quality; but I have waited for several months and have found no additional information about them. They seem to come from a BBS. A few of the stories have the name Port Coco BBS or Heart Break Hotel BBS associated with them. If anyone knows anything about the Sextales stories, please let me know, so that I can decide how to treat them. In this story Victoria is driving along the highway and suddenly realizes that her stick shift on the floor resembles something else she would prefer to be caressing. She reverses direction and heads for home, practically cumming in her panties while she continues to fondle the gearshift. When she gets home, she finds her significant other reading the morning paper and fondling his dick. She replaces his hand with her own body, and a good time is had by both. Ratings for "Victoria's Secrets+" Athena (technical quality): 10 Venus (plot & character): 8 Celeste (appeal to reviewer): 9 "Western Adventure" by Jimbo (Jimbo@oldfolks.hom). Matt and Laurel are 14-year-olds who have survived an Indian massacre while their families were on their way to Oregon in 1870. They make their way together toward the nearest fort; and once they are out of danger they explore their emerging sexuality together. Each has almost no knowledge at all of human sexual behavior, but they do pretty well and live happily ever after. The story is told simply and directly, as if it were being related by a subsequent great-great-grandson - the status claimed by the narrator - rather than by a more polished storyteller. Ratings for "Western Adventure" Athena (technical quality): 9 Venus (plot & character): 8 Celeste (appeal to reviewer): 8 "Bob and Carol and Jack and Jill " by Darryman (Darryman@aol.com). This story gets off to a fast and jolting start. An American boy and girl have been hiking across England. The girl is a bit forward - almost sluttish; and she is in the next room having sex with Jill's brother Jack. The boy is shy; and when he cums prematurely, Jill tells him that's OK, because "I'm going to fuck you to death." And she does. Literally. Then she goes to join her brother in disposing of the boy's sister. These are not the ordinary, friendly hedonists that we Americans believe inhabit the British countryside. In short, this story deals with that question that has been nagging at the back of your mind: is there anything as exciting as giving pleasure to someone you were about to destroy? Now on to the main plot. Bob and Carol are sexy American lovers whose car breaks down near the Gothic mansion of Jack and Jill. They need help - but they don't know how badly they really need help. Some - indeed, most - of the rape, torture, and snuff stories posted on this newsgroup are just plain drivel. They're the inane emissions of childish minds trying to prove their manhood by being nastier and grosser than anyone else. {If you need evidence to support my assertion, consider this title of a story posted yestereday, which I declined to review: "6 Drunks Gang-Bang, then Vomit on Barmaid"} This one is different. When an author can write about so many things that disgust me and do so in such a way as to make me thoroughly enjoy the story - THEN I know that I am reading a truly good story. At a very early point in the story I was struck by an insight. Jill is a crazed sex maniac who has joined her similarly inclined brother, Jack, in his hobby of sexual torture and murder. Jack had started out a long time ago on the whores of London - to be exact, his first victim had been Mary Kelly. But by now his sister had helped him develop more cultured tastes. I'll give you no more hints regarding Jack's identity. Lest you have nightmares, I remind you that this is fiction. People like this don't exist. Or if they do exist, they're crazy and too strong to resist. Now, isn't that reassuring? Ratings for "Bob and Carol and Jack and Jill" Athena (technical quality): 10 Venus (plot & character): 10 Celeste (appeal to reviewer): 10 "A Sexy Camping Trip" by Unknown Author. In this story from the THC archives, a man and woman go camping with another couple. They make love in their tent; and the man feels an additional thrill from the knowledge that the other couple is nearby. Afterwards, the woman goes to take a leak; and she returns with the other woman, and both of them make love to the man. The next night we presume the duo will take on the other guy. Ratings for "A Sexy Camping Trip" Athena (technical quality): 8 Venus (plot & character): 8 Celeste (appeal to reviewer): 8 "Summer Sizzler" by Phaerie (an656768@anon.penet.fi). Nick is a young teenager at summer camp. During a rain storm, he sneaks off to the gym, where he finds Tegan the Counselor restfully asleep. He fondles her and accidentally awakens her. Instead of being upset, she fucks his little brains out. That's about all there is to the story right now; but if the author gets a decent response, he/she may finish the story some day. This story must take place in Europe. In America I don't think most camps outside Maine have female counselors who have sex with the little boys. Ratings for "Summer Sizzler" Athena (technical quality): 8 Venus (plot & character): 6 Celeste (appeal to reviewer): 6 "Hello In There" by Mark Aster (MyFrThAl@aol.com). The guy is riding one of those trains that have separate compartments - like Sherlock Holmes used to ride in when he discussed crimes withWatson between cities. A woman comes by and asks if she can join the man. Then she informs him that she is crazy, but "they let her out." After a while she announces that she trusts him and likes him and asks if he would like to have sex with her. They make love. It's not real sexy - just the sort of pleasant sex that a nice man might have with a friendly stranger who came by on a train and offered her body to him. Then she gets off the train, and we presume they'll never see each other again. This was a surrealistic story - very different from the hot passion we usually find in this author's writings. Ratings for "Hello In There" Athena (technical quality): 9 Venus (plot & character): 9 Celeste (appeal to reviewer): 9 "The Candyman" by Ovid. This story is reposted by the THC archives in two parts with slightly different titles. Be sure to get both parts; otherwise you'll be furstrated. The man sneaks home in the middle of the day and hides in the closet to surprise his wife. Don't ever do this in real life. I don't know any woman who was ever happy that her husband hid in the closet when he was supposed to be at work and jumped out to surprise her. I DO know a woman who grabbed a gun and nearly killed her husband when he made a suspicious noise in the closet. But this is fiction, and so it's OK. Anyway, while her husband is in the closet ready to pounce, a traveling salesman comes to the door. He's selling candy (hence the title), and the wife buys some and agrees to respond to a survey a week later. Then the candyman leaves without fucking the wife. I kid you not. The candy contains an aphrodisiac; and so the woman comes into the bedroom hornier than hell; and the guy is too surprised to jump her bones just then. So he watches and gets turned on. This process repeats itself every Thursday for several weeks, and the guy begins to enjoy it more and more; and still the candyman doesn't even suggest having sex, and the wife is presumably faithful to her husband. She just eats the candy and masturbates, and afterwards they have better sex than ever. Eventually the candyman asks if he can please stay and watch the lady masturbate after she consumes his commodity. {Oh, great! Now I'll have a bunch of young readers thinking that commodity is a big word for cock, and that commodity futures are.... Oh, never mind!} The wife is inclined to say no, but she should have declined before she consumed his product. Next she discovers that she finds it spooky for him to just stand in the doorway and watch quietly, and so she suggests that he make mild comments, like "yes, yes!" or "Take it off, baby!" By the time he leaves, the candyman is really into it; and he suggests that next week maybe she wear something sexier. Things escalate, so to speak; and eventually the candyman suggests that he take off his clothes so that the wife can see him masturbate while she reacts to his merchandise. It turns out that he is Long Dong Candyman - twice the length and girth of the husband. He comes in massive dosses - suggesting (to me, at least) where he gets the filling for his candy! Then one day the candyman announces that he will be leaving to move to far away Minnesota. He further informs the wife that she has recently been the victim of a placebo. {Actually, according to the Latin definition ("I will please"), that's literally true.} The candyman is a pop psychologist: the aphrodisiac, he tells her, has been her mind, the strongest aphrodisiac there is. And that's the moral of the story. There's a final orgy, but you really should read the story yourself to get all the details. Ratings for "The Candyman" Athena (technical quality): 10 Venus (plot & character): 10 Celeste (appeal to reviewer): 10 "Tammy On The Big Screen" by Tammy Ng (Deidre Ng@aol.com). Tammy finds herself alone in a theater. Whilke her hand begins to wander, she visualizes herself on the screen doing exciting things. Either she is indulging her active imagination while bringing herself to orgasm or she is watching a porn flick. From what I have read about Tammy in previous stories, the former is more likely. As we know, Tammy is capable of fingering herself to orgasm during a ginsu knife infomercial. The images that float through Tammy's mind are surrealistic. A barber shaves her legs and works up to her pussy, where he braids her hair instead of cutting it. She nearly cums, but leaves and goes to a shoe store, where she makes a move I have always wanted to make on the salesman as he sits on his little stool. Then she goes to a restaurant that is almost closed and gets a hot fudge sundae. She drops her napkin; and when the waiter goes down for it, she rubs a fingerful of hot fudge onto her braided pussy, and the guy dives right in. This is a strange but interesting story. The only reason I noticed this story was because Tammy's sister Deidre called it to my attention. It was reposted by Red Dragon as "Tammy at the Theater" with no authorship listed. I have previously communicated with Red Dragon, and he seems to be a decent sort of person. I am going to presume that he came upon this story when it was already in mutilated form, rather than accusing him of altering it himself. I don't know what is going on here. I mean, I have no problem dealing with the people in this newsgroup who dwell on rape, incest, sodomy, child molestation, bestiality, and even masturbation - but I really do think we should have the decency to give authors credit for their own work. Am I missing something here? Why would anybody strip away the author's name, change the title, and then post the story word-for-word as it was written? I don't see what anybody gains by doing this; and the negative effects are that (1) the author doesn't receive credit and (2) lots of potential readers will skip the story because they will not realize that it is by a high-quality author like Tammy Ng. Tammy was upset. Is that what somebody wants - to antagonize an author because he/she dislikes her for some reason? As far as I can see, the authors don't make any money from these stories. The least we can do is give them credit and treat their work with respect - especially when it takes more work to mutilate it than it does to repost it accurately. I guess in some sense we can take pleasure in seeing good stories at all - even if the authors don't receive credit and even if somebody thinks he can give the story a better title than the original author. But I urge reposters to have the integrity to respect the rights of the original authors by reposting their stories completely and accurately.
