We have arranged to repost the Trinity Trilogy stories. I'll review three stories (a trilogy) every week, and the stories should appear in the postings at about the same time. The best thing I can say about these stories is that they remind me of the work of Mark Aster, who constantly receives high praise in my reviews. The Trilogy stories are creatively written. While they almost invariably involve hot sex, they also develop the personalities of the characters. You may want to keep your eyes open for these stories. Second Note: A reader named Axel who described himself as a pedantic European taking a shower asked, "How come this highly educated person {c'est moi} is throwing a Roman goddess (Venus) together with a Greek goddess (Athena)? Wouldn't *Aphrodite* be a more appropriate companion for Athena" in the rating system? {Interesting Freudian note: Do you know what my spellcheck thinks I'm trying to spell when I type *Aphrodite* with the asterisks (wildcards) before and after? Hermaphrodite. Makes sense, doesn't it?} Axel is quite right to note that there is an inconsistency in the nationality of the goddesses whose names are used in my system. However, please note that Celeste is neither a Greek nor a Roman goddess - just a name that sounds nice. I might ask why Axel suggests that it is Venus whose name is incorrect. In fact, I originally intended to choose two Roman goddesses, but I liked the name Athena better than Minerva. Can you imagine someone being concerned about his/her Minerva rating? What were the Romans thinking? However, I have to congratulate Axel. I have been posting for a year now, and he's the first person to call this to my attention. It's nice to know that there are educated readers out there, even if they are taking showers in Europe. Third Note: People are constantly asking me where to find the stories I review. I do not have time to reply to these requests individually. The answer is that all the stories are in the alt.sex.stories postings. If you can find me reviews, chances are good that you can also find the stories. If they're not in your postings, then something is wrong with your service. I supply additional advice in my FAQ, which I post occasionally. - Celeste "A Lovely Girl" by Michael K. This is a vivid story about a homicidal maniac who rapes a thirteen-year-old girl. The horror continues to build throughout the story until it reaches its full impact at the very end. What I truly appreciated about this story is that the author did not pretend that the little girl enjoyed any part of the experience. Rating the story was difficult. Its use of language was excellent; no problem there - 10. The plot was exceptionally well developed; again, no problem - another 10. But did I like it? Actually, I was repulsed by it. I definitely did not get turned on; and I hated the protagonist. My fervent hope is that nothing like the events depicted in this story should ever happen to anyone I love. So I didn't like it; but I did ADMIRE it. It conveyed to me an accurate description of the mind of a pervert; and I think I'm a better person because of the experience. And so, for appeal to reviewer - another 10. She wakens from a dream and finds a stranger in her bedroom, who does to her all that she had dreamed of and more. Was it a dream or reality? You read it and decide for yourself. Ratings for "When Morning Comes" Athena (technical quality): 10 Venus (plot & character): 9.5 Celeste (appeal to reviewer): 9.5 "The Trinity Trilogy Novel 1/14" by Tom Trinity (shelbyb@iglou.com). This is the first of fourteen segments of Trinity Trilogy Series. The author wishes to remain anonymous and private; the address is that of the editor, Shelby Bush, who has posted the stories in the past and who remains in contact with the author; and so mail sent to that address will reach the author. Shelby will wait until I post a review and then immediately post another one of the fourteen segments. It is my understanding that all 99 stories are also archived at the Backdrop, and I'll try to give you more particulars in a subsequent issue of CR. The stories remind me of Mark Aster's "My Friends the Allens" series. Both sets of stories are extremely well written. In addition both are much like a weekly TV sitcom to the extent that each episode stands alone, but there is an element of continuity that runs through the entire series. I suppose we could call them sitcums. They differ from what I'll call serialized stories, which try to focus on a single plot across several chapters contained in successive postings. Finally, both sets of stories are clever and well-rounded. By that I mean that the stories are about people with realistic personalities and contain insights and events that go beyond direct genital contact. In the first story we learn that Tom, Judy, and Candy are three people who enjoy going to science fiction conventions together. They have been together often without expressing sexual interest in one another - although the ladies seem to have trouble talking about topics other than sex. Returning to Tom's apartment one night, they watch the movie "Deep Throat" together, and Judy and Tom gather later that night for some really pleasant sex. The seed has been planted for many happy episodes. In "The Devil in Miss Candy" Tom, Judy, and Candy gather at Tom's apartment to watch "The Devil and Miss Jones." This is an interesting coincidence, because the first two porn movies I myself ever saw were the two this trio shared: "Deep Throat" and "The Devil and Miss Jones." I recall asking my husband the same question that one of the girls asked about "Deep Throat": "If her clit's in her throat, how come she keeps rubbing her pussy?" I suppose maybe the coincidence in choice of movies isn't all that remarkable; maybe there weren't many porn movies fifteen or so years ago. We saw the movies as a double feature when my husband was accompanying me to a convention in New York. {Teachers can only engage in public depravity when we're someplace where our students or their parents are not likely to see us.} What I remember most about that evening is my husband returning to his seat and telling me that he would never again go to the bathroom in a porn theater. It seems that dirty old men are really preoccupied with their dirty old things in those establishments. My husband's decision was fine with me, because I had become more than a little anxious in his absence. I recalled being told in a health class that one cannot catch venereal diseases except by direct contact. After that visit I believed what that teacher had said; if it were possible to catch VD by breathing the air, I would have developed several varieties from that trip to the theater. Were it not for the rise of the video rental store, I might never have seen another porn flick. Anyway, after our three friends watch "Miss Jones," Candy announces that it is about time she loses her virginity, and Tom has been elected to do the honors. Judy serves as a sort of choreographer or mistress of ceremonies, making sure that Candy gets her money's worth from this first experience. It's a very erotic sequence. The relationship among the three friends develops rapidly. Pretty soon Tom has to guess each evening which of the two girls would come by the apartment to spend the night; there did not seem to be a pattern, and it was often a tossup. The descriptions of sexual activity are consistently hot. I don't know how an author can keep this up for 13 more segments. In addition to the other nice things I've said about this series, I should mention one more strength: the people are normal - they are ordinary people doing extraordinary things. In this story, for example, we learn that Candy is overweight but sexy. Imagine that. Which reminds me... Three women died and went to the Pearly Gates, where St. Peter interviewed them. He asked the first woman for her name. She replied that it was Penny. St. Peter checked his list, found her name, and said, "It is proper that you have that name. You were greedy and avaricious during your life. You are condemned to hell. Be gone, evil woman." He asked the next woman her name, and she replied that it was Sherry. He checked the book and said, "Tis well that you are named Sherry, for wine and liquor were your undoing. Go to eternal damnation, you lousy drunk." He turned to the third woman, who was already walking away. "Where do you think you're going?" asked St. Peter. "I can take a hint," she replied. "My name is Fanny." {End of digression. Back to The Trinity Trilogy.} As much as I have begun to enjoy this set of stories, I have no interest in living my personal life the way the Trinity characters do. I have a personal religious and philosophical orientation that leads me to expect that sexual fulfillment is more likely to occur in the context of a dedicated, monogamous relationship than in the relatively hedonistic, open relationship described in this story. I say this not as part of a moral lecture. I may be entirely wrong; but so far my approach is working pretty well for me and my husband. I think stories like this describe an idealized hedonistic relationship and ignore the problems (e.g., jealousy, insecurity, rivalries, incomplete commitments, etc.) that are likely to disrupt non-monogamous relationships. I'm not trying to talk anyone out of their happy pluralistic relationships; and I am also aware that I probably idealize my own relationship with my husband. My point is that even as a person with an entirely different perspective on ideal sexual relationships, I find this kind of story to be refreshing and enjoyable. Not only can I enjoy a good story, but I can also expand my horizons by understanding a different viewpoint a little better. Having said what I said in the previous paragraph, let me now say the opposite. I watch "Days of Our Lives." I record it each day while I'm teaching and watch it every night before I go to bed - unless something disrupts my orderly life. I discuss DOOL each day with some of my friends in the teachers' lounge. This may sound complicated, but Bo had been in love with Hope, who died. Then Bo fell in love with Billie. But Hope hadn't died after all. So Bo had to decide between Billie and Hope. {Actually, it's even more complicated, because Hope lost her memory and got kidnapped by Jude Sinclair, and Billie really liked Hope.} Bo chose Hope, because she was the mother of his child; and so Billie got dumped, but I hear she's coming back. I shocked all my colleagues one day when I simply stated, "What's the problem? He should keep them both." In the unlikely event that my husband thinks I am dead and falls deeply in love with or even marries another woman and then I return, I'll simply slip him a copy of the Trinity Trilogy and tell him, "It's OK. Keep us both. I can learn to like her." The term Trilogy refers to the fact that the stories were originally posted in twelve sets of three. Shelby is reposting them in fourteen segments, the first one containing six stories. I cannot possibly review each individual story and still have time do justice to the many other stories I'd like to review. So what I intend to do is read and enjoy each segment and then write about some of the major ideas in each of my reviews. I hope you enjoy both my reviews and these excellent stories. Ratings for "Trinity Trilogy Novel 1/14" Athena (technical quality): 10 Venus (plot & character): 10 Celeste (appeal to reviewer): 10 "Bobbi Sue's Adventure 1" by Bobbi Sue. This is an autobiographical account of what happened to a 30-year old woman when she discovered this newsgroup. Actually, her husband introduced this newsgroup to her as an example of how perverted some areas of the Internet were. He's only 26, sexually effective, a bit of a prude, and knows nothing about Bobbi Sue's new adventures. Bobbi Sue slipped gradually into depravity. First she read the stories and jumped her husband when he got home; then she began to masturbate after reading the stories; and soon she found herself selecting carrots and cucumbers at the market based on how she thought they would fill her pussy. Such are the trials of the everyday housewife who gave up the good life for Tom. Alas, one day Bobbi decides to go nearly au naturel during her noontime run. She can feel the breeze on her exposed ass, and the brief that she had pulled up between her cheeks is working its way between her wet pussy lips. {You can get a bad rash if you do this too often.} Shortly after she discards her top, she almost collides with a guy on a mountain bike. She just passes him, but she imagines him watching her cute little ass as she trots the half mile to her turnaround point. When she turns, he's gone; but when she rounds the corner, there he is jacking himself off with the top she had discarded. She asks for the top back, but he isn't done with it yet. He says that he will give it back pretty soon, if she will be kind enough to turn around and let him see her ass again. He asks to fuck her; but she declines. That would be beyond her present limits. He suggests a blow job; she compromises at a hand job, as long as she can fuck herself with the bicycle pump while he cums on her face. Bobbi Sue describes this as within her limits of fidelity. Those are pretty broad limits. I myself define FANTASIZING about this as within my own limits of fidelity, and so I guess my husband and I have less generous limits. But it's a good fantasy, and both Bobbi Sue and I fucked our husband's brains out afterwards. I've noticed several additional Bobbi Sue Adventures in the postings, and I'll try to review some of the later episodes when I get a chance. Ratings for "Bobbi Sue's Adventure 1" Athena (technical quality): 10 Venus (plot & character): 10 Celeste (appeal to reviewer): 10 "Young Love and a Forty-Five" by Jared M. (lovetodang@aol.com). The narrator is a 17-year-old who has moved from Chicago to California and apparently intends to do something there other than study rocket science. He finds a nice girl who will let him kiss her. Cool! Since he's in the prime of his sexual life, he's really happy when she asks if he'd like to try something else and he asks what and she says, "I don't know. Whatever you'd like." Really cool! Then Jessica asks him to take off her pants. Way cool! They fuck kind of in slow motion, and the look on her face is "one of confusion and intense arousement." Too cool to talk about! "After the spams ended, they just layed there, giggling and kissing, shocked at what they had just done." Unbelievably cool! Either the author IS an unsophisticated 19-year-old male writing about his early sexual with a 15-year-old girlfriend or he is trying to write like one. If this really is a literally true story about the first sexual experiences of a young couple, then I suppose I should apologize for the irreverence I may have expressed in the preceding paragraph. One doesn't have to be a literary giant to be a tender lover. The problem is that the author is writing for an audience, and the story comes across as sounding really simple-minded. I remember watching a "Family Ties" episode several years ago in which the writer wanted to make Mallory seem to be putting on false airs of pseudo-intelligence. She used words like "importosity" and "smartitude." There are no such words; the humor arises from the fact that there are very simple words that mean what Mallory really wanted to say ("importance" and "intelligence"). Similarly, there is no such word as "arousement"; the author meant "arousal," and he should have been able to figure this out before going to press with this story. That's why proofreading is important. Likewise, it was probably the "spasms" that ended - although on the Internet we normally appreciate it when the spams end; and there is no such word as "layed"; it should be "lay." And I have no clue regarding what the title means; what does a "forty-five" have to do with the story? My guesses range from breast size (of a 15-year-old?) to a weapon. Maybe I missed something. If the author (or reader) wants instruction, it would be useful to compare this story with the preceding story ("Bobbi Sue's Adventure"). In both cases the author purports to be relating a true series of events; and (assuming the incidents really did happen) both stories would have been intensely interesting to the original participants. But "Bobbi Sue" is clearly more absorbing to an audience that wasn't there to experience the story first-hand. Ratings for "Young Love and a Forty-Five" Athena (technical quality): 6 Venus (plot & character): 5 Celeste (appeal to reviewer): 5 "Baby Sitting" by The Englishman (ESkilton@aol.com). The story is a clear and plausible description of a trusted relative molesting a young girl. I'm sure this newsgroup is full of people who will find this to be erotic. I didn't. When I read a story about a child having sex with an adult, I seem to automatically ask myself whether I would have enjoyed either (1) having this happen to me as a child, or (2) doing this as an adult to a child. There are some things that I am glad I did not do as a child, but which would have been enjoyable. Examples include seducing a couple of my teachers, fucking under the bleachers at the football field, and fondling some of my fellow cheerleaders. These things would have been enjoyable, but they probably would have affected my life in an undesirable way. However, I really do sometimes wish I could have done some of these things - that is, I occasionally wish my value system would have been different, so that I would have felt free to do those things. Since my value system is what it is, and since that part of my life is over, I settle for reading stories about people with different value systems who did do these things. The situation is different with child molestation. There is a limited sense in which I WOULD have enjoyed being molested as a child by a trusted relative. It's the same sense that I WOULD have enjoyed eating vast quantities of chocolate candy that would have made me puke afterwards, stealing money from my parents' wallets, or pushing fat ladies down escalators. These activities would all have been fun, but I'm glad I didn't do them. In the same way, I'm certain that it would be PLEASURABLE to be seduced and exploited by a trusted adult - after all, physiological reactions occur no matter who stimulates them; but the harm would outweigh the benefits by so much that it's hardly true to say that I "wish" something like that would have happened to me. Is this an "evil" story - the sort that lends a bit of validity to the arguments of people who say that Internet sex will ruin the lives of children? I don't think so. I think any reader with an ounce of sense can see that this little girl is being manipulated for the gratification of her uncle. I think the overall realism makes it a good story. I think the "religious" people who object to stories like this should have the courage of their convictions and believe that if readers see realistic information, the "truth will prevail." If I knew my children were reading this story, I would simply help them see the shallowness of the uncle's reasoning; and I think they would thereby become LESS likely to be exploited themselves. In fact, this story would be worthwhile reading as part of a course in parenting. If a little girl doesn't learn about sex from a Benign Opportunist, where would she learn about it? Well, I myself learned to kiss from a pimple-faced kid whom I respected and trusted. I learned to French kiss from a really nice guy with whom I split up because his priorities in life differed from my own. I gradually learned more and more by experimenting with my peers and with my boyfriends in settings of trust and respect. I think most normal people learn this way. And I think the stories on this newsgroup that describe learning about sex in an atmosphere of trust and respect are every bit as sexy and interesting as those that describe exploitation, as this one does. Ratings for "Baby Sitting" Athena (technical quality): 10 Venus (plot & character): 10 Celeste (appeal to reviewer): 10 "Mary Tyler Moore" by Uncle Mike (fr582@cleveland.Freenet.Edu). Mary needs some time off, and Mr. Grant is unwilling to give it to her. Finally, she whines in her inimitable way that she'll "do anything for it." Mr. Grant's eyes light up in response to an evil thought: "You'll do anything, Mary? ANYthing?" So Lou finally gets the blow job he's always wanted from Mary; and Mary figures it's over. But then Ted walks into the office; and to keep him quiet Lou lets him fuck Mary; and to placate Mary for this humiliation, Lou gives her a second week off. But then Murray walks into the office, and we have another emboikment and another week's vacation. And then Gordie the weather man walks into the office... This is a pretty good parody. Mary, Lou, and Ted are done best; it's easy to imagine these TV characters doing what they do in this story. Erin and Jason, the 12- and 13-year old children of the Walton clan go off to a field and watch horses copulate. They marvel, and Erin tries to get Jason to explain the process to her more clearly, but Jason doesn't know much himself. Eventually they experiment by examining Jason's sexual anatomy and then Erin's; and after that Erin suggests that Jason and she might want to imitate the horses. They quickly discover the missionary position, which they prefer to horsy style; and soon they are having sex regularly. Then one day their older sister Mary Ellen catches them in the act. So Jason fucks her too - after Erin primes her, of course. A prologue tells us that eventually the rest of the kids join the fun as well. This is an interesting story about kids having sex with each other on the farm; and I guess it's fun to associate the activities with the various Walton kids. I have trouble with parodies, however, when the people get too far out of character. These kids all behave as if their irresponsible parents have taught them nothing about sex. I have an overwhelming impression that the parents and grandparents in the Walton series would have done a better job of raising their kids. Ratings for "The Waltons" Athena (technical quality): 10 Venus (plot & character): 9 Celeste (appeal to reviewer): 7 "The Party" by WouldBeBad (WouldBeBad@aol.com). I occasionally give negative reviews to stories because they are "filled with nothing but mindless sex." This story is filled with nothing but mindless sex, but it's well written and at least moderately interesting. The basic premise is that the three female cousins get caught masturbating together, and instead of apologizing they announce that they enjoy sex and are proud to be sluts. Their parents respond by throwing a party for them at which they will be able to demonstrate their sexual abilities by performing every kind of sexual act imaginable. The description of the ensuing orgy is well written and vivid. Orgy enthusiasts will possibly be impressed. I guess this kind of activity could be fun; but if anyone ever throws an orgy for me, I would appreciate it if they would skip letting Rex the German Shepherd fuck me. Actually, this story comes with two variations of Part 2; and the second version skips the dog and has the girl get simultaneously fucked by three men instead. The author read my mind! Although it was described in comprehensive detail, I did not find the orgy to be all that arousing. I did not get even a little bit wet in my vagina, nor did I have an urge to wake my husband up when I went to bed afterwards. This may be because we had already had delightful sex earlier in the morning; but I think the reason may also be that I subconsciously felt enough is enough. I have certainly enjoyed orgy stories before, but this one took special delight in incest and in the notion that it was really neat to have the parents feeding their children sexually to the horny crowd. I acknowledge that I respect the incest taboo as a valid prohibition; but I also maintain that I am able to suspend that taboo in my imagination while reading fiction. I can understand that with the right setup it could be extremely erotic to read about a child having sex with a parent; but there is no setup here. The author simply demands that the reader believe that there's something special about sex just because it involves parents with their children. I just don't see the point in this. Finally, I like orgies better when they're a bit more spontaneous. This story resembled a modern, slick porn movie with no plot - just sex and more sex. I sometimes find such movies to be stimulating - depending on what else is happening to me at the time or what else is on my mind; but I would rather see a less explicit movie with a sexy plot. Ideally, I'd like to see a porn movie with a sexy plot; but not many talented actors and actresses seem to feel called to copulate with strangers in front of a camera. I don't need much of a reason - the rationale for the orgy described by this same author in "My Wedding" was sufficient, as are all the rationales I've seen so far in Mark Aster's Allen Sisters stories; but I like to see a bit of creative plot or personality injected into the orgy. Ratings for "The Party" Athena (technical quality): 9 Venus (plot & character): 10 Celeste (appeal to reviewer): 7 "Brief Visitor" by Sunrain (an648227@anon.penet.fi). The ladies have gone camping in the woods. One of them wanders off alone and is approached by an alien from outer space in a barn. She doesn't get a good look at the alien, but it does a good job on her with its tentacles. I would have liked to have seen some more plot development in this story. As it is, the woman just gets fondled and fucked by the unseen alien, and that's about it. English is not the author's first language, and so there are some mistakes - usually omitted words or correct spellings of incorrect words; but he/she did a lot better than I would have done writing about sex in a foreign language. Ratings for "Brief Visitor" Athena (technical quality): 7 Venus (plot & character): 6 Celeste (appeal to reviewer): 6 "Liar, Liar" by SueNH (SueNH@aol.com). About a year ago a person with a warped sense of humor posted a message on a.s.s. stating that SueNH was not a real person but rather merely a front for an alleged money-making scheme of some kind. Sue (who I have reason to believe really exists) wrote this story in retaliation. The protagonist of the story is a man who gets his sexual kicks by hiding in anonymity while making untrue statements about beautiful, lusty women who write hot stories on the Internet. He likes these stories and even jerks off while reading them, but instead of doing something artistic in return, he responds in his uncreative, anonymous, cowardly manner. This makes him feel bigger, more powerful - it provides a kinky sort of sexual turn-on for him. Just thinking about it makes his cock harden in his jogging shorts as he begins his run, and his little nipples get hard and show through his T-shirt as he start to work up a sweat within a block of his house. Shortly after he starts his run, he spots a beautiful woman jogger. He follows her and is eventually astonished to discover that she has stopped at his house and obviously wants to come inside. She enters the house and teases him sexually, eventually binding him to the bed and revealing herself to be SueNH, the very person to whom he had directed his cowardly criticism on the Internet. Sue continues to tease him and brings herself to orgasm several times. She leaves it up to him to decide whether he'll repent and gain genuine pleasure or continue to live his miserable, craven existence. Reality check: This jerk runs five or six miles in about a half hour. I'm in good shape and can't do that - and I'm usually not encumbered by a hard-on. If Sue revises this story, she should either drop the distance to 3 or 4 miles or up the time to 45 minutes. This is an unusual and interesting story. I don't normally like sexual violence, and neither does Sue. But no real harm comes to this asshole, and he deserves the discomfort her gets. People who are familiar with Sue's other stories (many of which are currently being reposted) will enjoy this story the most.
