It is really impractical for me to send stories to individual readers or even to respond in practical detail to this question. If an author sees a review of his/her story reviewed, I would encourage him/her to repost it. It's OK with me if authors attach my review; as long as they don't change it. Also, I am maintaining a database of the stories I review; and if I notice a story being reposted after I have reviewed it, I'll try to repost the review of that story as soon as possible. If you contact me when you repost, I'll be more likely not to miss your story. Since readers have often commented that they cannot find the stories I have reviewed, because they disappear from the posting services too rapidly, I have implemented the suggestion of posting the author's e-mail address with the review. I don't see this as breaking confidentiality, since I am getting the address out of the publicly posted story anyway. Please remember that the best way to get the story is from the postings. (If a thousand people read a story and all thousand of them request it directly from the author, this would be an unreasonable burden.) If this policy poses an inconvenience to authors, I would appreciate it if they would let me know. One good idea is to look for stories written by authors you have learned to respect. In Question 16 of my FAQ I list several authors whose stories I myself look for. Finally, one reader tells me that he has almost set up a Web page that will include all 100 of my reviews of the Top Stories of 1995 along with the actual stories. This is almost too good to be true, but I think the page will be ready within the week. The burly black bartender accepts the girl's panties from the equally black rapists and puts them in a drawer with lots of others. "Another white bitch is going to lose her cherry and probably get a black baby in her belly. All the panties in the box are from white girls, all teenagers. High-class, pampered young bitches who come in for a beer, and get fucked instead." The Naked City has a thousand tales to tell, and this is one of them. On the eve of her sixteenth birthday the night has taken a turn for the worse for Cindy.. Her boyfriend has brought her to a bar in a disreputable part of the city, where the bartenders never ask for ID. Therefore, he hoped to get her drunk and pop her cherry. But he went to take a leak, and now these assholes have taken his place and have told him to go away while they rape his girlfriend. Guys who ejaculate whenever they think of a white pussy and a black cock will most likely enjoy this story, even though I've already told you all the good parts. More discerning readers will notice that this story has a few loose ends. Like why doesn't the boyfriend just call the cops when the rapists tell him to leave? Or what would keep the police from looking into the drawerful of panties when they occasionally investigate a rape? Or why hasn't word leaked out by now that little white bitches should avoid this place if they don't want to be serviced by nasty black studs? The story ends with Cindy over eight months pregnant - with twins yet. She's seriously upset, but she has decided not to tell her parents that the father is a black man. That would disgrace both her and her family. Assuming her parents are no smarter than anyone else in this story, they will probably never notice - unless, of course, the twins are boys who grow up to rape white girls in sleazy bars. Good grief! Ratings for "Sweet 16" Athena (technical quality): 3 Venus (plot & character): 3 Celeste (appeal to reviewer): 1 "Love Letters with a Cyber Virgin" by Lee J Kool (ljkool@concentric.net). This is a story that evolved from a cyber-romance - private communications that have been proclaimed to constitute a "story." The introduction ends with a cryptic warning: "If you're under eighteen, don't read this. It's too sexy for you." That's not true. This story should be required reading for all children; they would be so confused that they would probably lose interest in sexual activity. As near as I can figure, the two lovers meet in a cafe somewhere in the desert and then walk through a cornfield where the leaves rustle under their bare feet until they go into a barn that has a stairwell leading to a four poster bed where the guy ties the girl down and drives her out of her mind before she returns the favor for him. Much of this is impossible or at least unlikely, but I think the authors were trying to be surrealistic. It was very difficult for me to figure out who was doing what to whom. The grammar was largely incoherent (e.g., one author used no capital letters - I think for some unknowable stylistic effect - and the other was inconsistent) and the hand-offs from one writer to another were clumsy. I think this story was probably very meaningful - possibly even beautiful - for the two people originally involved in the cyber romance. But I couldn't get interested in it myself. Ratings for "Love Letters with a Cyber Virgin" Athena (technical quality): 6 Venus (plot & character): 4 Celeste (appeal to reviewer): 2 "Lipstick" by SweetSprng (sweetsprng@aol.com). Sweet is the name of a lady who is the sextoy of a dominant guy named Fred. The story is a fairly clear description of how Fred makes Sweet do sexy things and eventually humiliates her in the restroom of a restaurant. She is willing to submit her strong and willful nature to Fred's control, and from this submission Fred derives a rich and heady feeling of power. For her part, by giving herself over to Fred, Sweet feels a freedom that she has never known before. I have read a lot of D/s stories, and I certainly look at some of them in a different light than I would have a year ago. I recently watched a TV talk show in which a woman was being interviewed after breaking up with her dominant boyfriend. Nobody in the audience could understand that the breakup had nothing to do with the apparent abuse; the woman stated that she found it sexy to be humiliated by her former boyfriend. The breakup occurred because she "felt a need to grow." This story does little to enlighten non-believers like those in the talk-show audience. However, if you're already a True Believer who can understand why a woman would be attracted to a guy who would take her into the men's restroom and humiliate her, then you'll probably like this story. Ratings for "Lipstick" Athena (technical quality): 9 Venus (plot & character): 8 Celeste (appeal to reviewer): 6 "Freshman Daze" by Ptolos (ptolos@aol.com). The girl is a high school freshman and the guy is a junior; and so I guess that's why the term "sophomoric" popped into my mind when I read this story. It gives a brief description of the joys of feeling a girl up and popping her cherry out in the bleachers while the principal is inside giving the introductory speech to kick off the new school year. This is not great literature - just the written version of what 80% of high school guys claim to have done about twice a week. Ratings for "Freshman Daze" Athena (technical quality): 7 Venus (plot & character): 7 Celeste (appeal to reviewer): 5 "Picnic" by RC (74734.271@CompuServe.COM). The man is a bit upset because his wife is late picking him up after a hard day at work. Eventually he realizes that she is not taking him home, and his interest and lust begin to increase. She takes him to a secluded spot in the park - the spot where they first made love a long time ago. The picnic basket contains not food but sextoys. A good time was had by all. And hypnosis - somebody got hypnotized - or did he? Ratings for "Picnic" Athena (technical quality): 10 Venus (plot & character): 9 Celeste (appeal to reviewer): 9 "Tammy's Game" by Tammy Ng (Deidre Ng@aol.com). A friend of mine once tried to introduce me to the Japanese game called Go. I was bored with it and told her I would rather play a game called Cum. Tammy Ng has hit upon the same idea from a different perspective. Her insight is that men seem to be overly excited about video games that involve war. Not only do the games consume vast amounts of time that their lady friends would like to see put to better use - these games also develop attitudes that are at least mildly inimical to romance. Tammy's solution is to develop an arcade game that focuses on bringing Virtual Tammy to orgasm. Bonus points would be given for keeping her in a high state of excitement until the final, blissful explosion. This libidinous recreation would have the advantage of getting guys intensely interested in activities that possess socially redeeming values. Persons successful at the game could transfer their newly developed skills to the partners whom they would normally ignore while playing games like Mortal Kombat. Tammy describes two versions of her game in detail. I think there is great potential here. It would be fun if other authors would build on this idea by suggesting alternate versions of this game or by writing stories about people who participate in such a game. It would also be fun to see somebody develop the actual game! Ratings for "Tammy's Game" Athena (technical quality): 10 Venus (plot & character): 10 Celeste (appeal to reviewer): 10 "Intrusion" by Joe Parsons (jmp@cyber-mall.com). The author is in real life the operator of a phone-sex service. He writes these stories as commercials. I hate the phone-sex ads that fill up a.s.s. and a.s.s.d., but I enjoy Joe's advertisements. I respect a person who gives me something to entice me into his service; and if I ever do call a phone sex line, I'll be sure to think of his. In fact, I may even give his number to those religious fanatics that keep coming to my door. This is a very short story about a quickie. It's not a bad story, but there isn't much to it - just wham, bam, thank you ma'am. I guess that's OK, but Joe has written much better stories. Ratings for "Intrusion" Athena (technical quality): 10 Venus (plot & character): 7 Celeste (appeal to reviewer): 7 "Tonya Harding: Slave-Girl" by Your Friendly Author (an587309@anon.penet.fi). What did that sweet little ice skater do to deserve all the vituperation she receives on this newsgroup? An even better question - what would possess an apparently sane man to write over 40,000 words about this fair damsel and her evil step-sister Nancy? Beats me! In this story Tonya receives Abuse Control Therapy from Dr. David Liebenschmerz, a kindly psychologist who comes upon Tonya in a Portland park while she is in the throes of depression over the unjustly negative vibes she gets from everyone around her. The doctor volunteers his services to help Tonya regain her self-concept and resume her normal, adaptive lifestyle. First the good doctor gives our miscreant mistress of the ice a severe beating - 50 whacks on the bare buttocks with a sturdy paddle. This hurts like hell and raises welts; but Tonya finds it to be sexually stimulating and resolves to continue the treatment, which will take place on the Liebenschmerz country estate. I honestly think I myself would feel something other than sexual arousal if someone did this to me; but Tonya is - to say the least - an unusual and mildly dysfunctional person, and so I accepted this reaction as plausible. After all, the bruises from the beating were nothing a little masturbation couldn't cure. The story is a veritable Odyssey filled with wonderful events. The enema and catheterization sounded a bit uncomfortable, but Doc Liebenschmerz helped out by pinching her clitoris until she relaxed. Being blindfolded, gagged, and (of course) bound in the back of a van traveling down a highway while possessed by an urgent need to defecate and go wee-wee helped Tonya develop self control. Everything for a purpose! I almost forgot to tell you. Dr. Liebenschmerz has an assistant: Nancy Kerrigan. As you may recall, she was Tonya's archrival at the Olympic debacle who subsequently made snotty remarks during a parade at Disney World. This might sound like a framework for a catfight story; but Ms. Kerrigan is here as part of the therapy. You'll have to read it yourself; its kinda hard to explain. Basically, Tonya has to confront her guilt and/or pay the piper. Dr. Liebenschmerz is actually a humanitarian. This therapy is good for Nancy as well as for Tonya - and he gets a few jollies himself. Mistress Nancy tortures Tonya, and naturally Tonya has to find a way to make amends to the Goddess of Ice. I wonder how she'll do that! OK. So I couldn't resist having a little fun with the plot; but I don't think the author will object. I really don't like torture stories; but there are certain people - including the goody-goody characters in televised fiction and a few celebrities like Saddam Husein, Joey Buttofucko, and Tonya Harding - who fall outside my rules of normal morality. Even Ghandi would enjoy reading about these people suffering discomfort and ignominy. The author is quite creative in his presentation of the story. He mixes pleasure and pain, reality and dreams, sense and nonsense - all these in such a way as to make even me wonder what the hell would happen next. We even get high-quality bestiality - mostly in authentic Freudian dream sequences. And there's much more. Eventually, I was forced to admit that there was a certain logic to the plan - this therapy was so crazy, it just might work! I doubt it, but it beats anything else I can think of to reform Tonya - assuming Mother Theresa is unavailable. Ratings for "Tonya Harding: Slave-Girl" Athena (technical quality): 10 Venus (plot & character): 10 Celeste (appeal to reviewer): 10 "Sandwich" by Frank McCoy (mccoyf@millcomm.com). This author posted several stories this past week. I have time to review only one of them here. "Sandwich" is a game that the narrator played as a child. One sibling would be sandwiched in bed among the three others, while they frolicked naked in the pre-dawn hours before their parents woke up - and whenever else they got a chance. The game can be played by anywhere from two to as many as want to join in. It's best when at least three players are involved, and probably better if there are more boys involved than girls, though not necessarily. The lucky person in the middle gets to be the "filling" and has every hole stuffed (if she's a girl) or both holes stuffed and his prick buried in someone else's hole, if he's a boy. The game even has a scorekeeping system. For example, a player gets two basic points, for each person he/she gets off simultaneously. The narrator had an almost unfair advantage at collecting bonus-points, since she could usually start climaxing the moment she felt one of her brothers' cocks slide up into her overheated little pussy and didn't stop until the last of them had gone limp and soft inside her. Guys can't do this - at least not in the real world. But the brothers didn't seem to mind. In real life, of course, this game would be a really asinine idea. There's a sensible balance between repressing children's sexuality and having them fuck one another's brains out. I thought the story was pretty juvenile; but I guess that's the idea - the narrator is supposed to be a 13-year-old exploring sex with her brothers. I don't mean to spoil the ending, but their mother eventually catches them in the act. At first she seems upset, but then she says, "What the hell, you might as well finish. But I don't condone this sort of thing." Then (and only then) the big brother explains to the little girl that she might be pregnant. This could be unfortunate, because inbreeding often leads to lowered intelligence in the offspring; but that may not be possible in this family. Ratings for "Sandwich" Athena (technical quality): 9.5 Venus (plot & character): 7 Celeste (appeal to reviewer): 7 "Encounters" by LibbySweet (LibbySweet@aol.com). A woman who has recently broken up with her girlfriend is walking along a beach, feeling drawn to romance by the general ambiance. An extremely sensual and free-spirited woman calls out to her and joins her, and soon they are exchanging backrubs and eventually orgasms. This story supports my theory that most sensible women can enjoy hot sex without having a penis on the scene. Ratings for "Encounters" Athena (technical quality): 9 Venus (plot & character): 9 Celeste (appeal to reviewer): 9 "Please Speak into the Flowerpot" by Mark Aster (MyFrThAl@aol.com). My relatively low ratings (low for this author, that is) occur because this is simply a vignette, not a complete story. What we have here are sounds and only sounds - what private investigators might hear, for example, as they sit in their cleverly disguised utility truck, listening through earphones to the sounds they can pick up from the tiny microphone they cleverly hid in the flowerpot of the people under surveillance. This leaves a lot to the imagination - and that can be a lot of fun! Ratings for "Please Speak into the Flowerpot" Athena (technical quality): 10 Venus (plot & character): 8 Celeste (appeal to reviewer): 9
