On the 10th of November 2003 ASSM and ASSTR celebrated another anniversary. As usual a writing festival was organized to celebrate the occasion. Here you'll find the rules to that festival and links to the stories and authors that took part in it.

One of the objectives of this celebration was to remember those who can to make a donation and help ASSTR. ASSTR relies on your donations to keep doing it's great work, so if you can please make a donation. You can find details on how to donate at http://www.asstr-mirror.org/donations.html.

A big 'Thanks!' to those that helped celebrate ASSM's and ASSTR's anniversary!

1 - As in the first celebration there will be a 'Flash Challenge' and a 'Party'. The 'Flash Challenge' will be for stories up to 1000 words, the 'Party' will be for stories longer than that. These stories should be inspired by the image shown at http://www.asstr-mirror.org/ or by any of the other 11 images available at http://www.jonathonart.com/drawing1.html .

2 - For those that don't feel inspired by those images, or that may prefer to write something else there is a 'Free' category where, as the name suggests, there are no rules.

3 - All stories taking part in the celebration should have either [Blanket - Flash], if it's a Flash Challenge story, or [Blanket - Party], if it's Party Challenge story, or [Blanket - Free], if it's a Free category story, on their subject lines.

4 - In any story inspired by a image authors should include, if possible, the URL to the image which inspired the story so readers can reference it if so desired.

5 - Authors, If possible, should e-mail me (to rui_jp@yahoo.com) a little description/teaser of their work so I can then use them on the teasers to be posted on the weeks leading to the festival, to promote it and to as usual ask for donations to support ASSTR, and allow it to keep doing it's great job.

6 - The deadline to post the stories will be November the 10th, but if possible authors should submit their stories (and other writings) by November the 8th, so they can be listed on the teasers.

7 - If possible I'm asking authors to include a link to ASSTR donations page, http://www.asstr-mirror.org/donations.html , on their works and maybe a couple of lines asking those who can to help support ASSTR. This is not obligatory though, if an author doesn't feel comfortable with it he/she doesn't have to include the link or the request for donations.
