Oh yeah, adults only, too (yeah, right!) Thus continues the saga of Kari Gold's high school years. More installments to follow. Kari Gold called out as she opened the restroom door. No one answered. Kari was just about to turn around and start searching the rest of the upper-300 hall when she heard a plopping splash followed by a sputtering heave. Entering the Girl's Room, she closed the door gently behind her. The last thing she wanted to do was scare Devon Lindler even more. Tip-toeing gingerly across the cold tile, Kari found the freshman cheerleader cringing inside the last of the doorless stalls. As Kari cautiously approached the pretty ninth grader, she couldn't help but notice that Devon, too, was wearing no panties. Her pleated skirt bunched haphazardly above her smooth thighs, and her firm buttocks glistened with a wet film. "My God, Devon .." Kari exclaimed when realized the origin of the moisture coating the cheerleader's bottom. Devon Lindler was squatting in a puddle of her own warm pee. The faintly acrid smell wafted into Kari's nostrils, causing the girl detective to step back for a moment even as she extended a helping hand towards the slender redhead. "Get away from me!" the beleaguered cheerleader barked, trying to shield her frightened face from Kari's inquisitive gaze. "Or I'll scream. I swear I will .." "It's me, Kari Gold .." The girl detective did her best to ignore the cheerleader's distressed condition as well as her desperate threat. "Are you all right?" "What the HELL do you care?" Devon snapped back. "You got your big laugh for the day. Now just leave me alone." "Look, I'm definitely NOT laughing, okay ..?" Kari assured her. "I know something's going on here, something NOT right. And I want to help you. But you have to trust me .. talk to me." "I'm not talking to ANYONE!" Devon spit before she leaned over the toilet bowl and heaved again. Saliva and what appeared to be part of her breakfast bubbled forth between her snarling lips and plopped into the commode's wide basin. "So just GET OUT OF HERE .. before I scream." "You're not going to scream, Devon," Kari observed calmly. She stooped down now, hesitantly brushing back the redhead's bangs from her clammy forehead. "You and I BOTH know that. Screaming would just bring a bunch of teachers in here, and a bunch of teachers means a bunch of questions. And, from what I can see, that's the last thing you want right now." "Just leave us alone," Devon sobbed. "Please .." "Who is 'us'?" Kari asked. "Who's in trouble besides you and Qarri?" Kari Gold paused a second, her mind racing. "Sue Jurkowski? Gina Baldassario?" Kari's questioning met with stunned silence. Mentioning Sue and Gina had DEFINITELY struck a nerve with Devon. Sensing an opening, Kari pursued her line of questioning. "I know SOMETHING's going on with the cheerleaders, Devon. If you want someone to help you, you're going to have to trust me." "What's going on in here?" a woman's voice echoed against the restroom's pink tile walls, immediately stifling Devon's sobs. Kari turned towards the doorway and faced a tall, angular woman. Seeing Kari crouched before one of the stalls, the woman quickly strode into the restroom. Although she appeared to be younger and more physically fit than most teachers, the woman's waspish features and tight dishwater-blond bun rendered her with a distinctive, school-marmish look. Kari Gold recognized the Wasp Lady immediately -- Ms. Stoike, the varsity cheerleading advisor. "My friend is sick," Kari Gold lied, her mind quickly switching gears into confabulation mode. "She needs the school nurse." "Is that right, Devon?" Obviously Wasp Woman already knew the freshman cheerleader quite well. Without hesitating, the teacher pecked her head into the open stall and studied the slender, redhead carefully. "Ms. Stoike ..?" Devon seemed even more terrified now with the presence of the varsity cheerleading advisor. The ninth-grader's eyes widened; her lithe body trembled. "Yes, Devon." The Wasp Woman pushed Kari aside as she kneeled down in the stall. "What happened? What's the matter?" "I need to go home," Devon mewled. "Please .." "Did something happen?" Ms. Stoike asked, leaning over the ninth grader and touching her forehead. "Did someone ..?" the teacher started, then cut herself off. Suddenly, she turned and glared up at Kari Gold. "What did you see?" the Wasp Woman hissed. "What happened to her?" "She was complaining about stomach cramps," Kari lied, noticing as Devon clearly shrunk back from the Wasp Woman's touch. Something in the cheerleader advisor's attitude disturbed Kari Gold, and for now the girl detective felt safer telling the Wasp Woman as little truth as possible. "When we were sitting in class, she suddenly broke out into cold sweats," Kari elaborated on her story. "It might be some kind of infection. I can stay here with her while you get the nurse .." "That won't be necessary," Ms. Stoike responded curtly. From her waist, she deftly withdrew a small, hand-held walkie-talkie. "Nurse Fielding," she spoke into the transmitter, "we have a sick girl in the upper-300 ladies room." The radio crackled with a rush of static. "I'll be right there," a female voice suddenly squawked back. "You need to go back to class, young lady," the Wasp Woman sternly informed Kari. "I can take care of things from here." "Okay," Kari acquiesced. Desperately, her mind raced for something to say, anything that could stall her departure and maybe provide her another few moments alone with Devon. "Maybe I could .." "BACK to class, young lady," the Wasp Woman cut her off. "Right now." Kari nodded demurely and slowly backed out of the restroom. This certainly wasn't middle school where she had all the teachers and administrators wrapped around her little finger. Ms. Stoike didn't know Kari Gold was, and she certainly didn't care. Bristling and dejected, Kari Gold trudged back to Room 322. Mr. Burns had returned by now, and he glared at the ninth-grade detective while he finished drawing a picture of a cell on the chalkboard. "I trust everything is all right, Ms. Gold .." he observed as Kari slunk back into her seat. "Yes, sir," Kari averted her eyes, busily opening her book to the page number written on the blackboard. "Very well then," Mr. Burns replied before turning his attention back to his drawing. "We were just diagramming the basic cell, Ms. Gold," he spoke as he drew. "Perhaps you'd like to identify what I'm drawing now .." Kari looked up at the chalkboard. Mr. Burns' drawing already included a cell wall and a nucleus. He was now sketching tiny blobs inside the cell. "If you don't know the answer," he chided Kari as he drew, "the ADULT thing to do is simply say 'I don't know, Mr. Burns.'" Her mind freshly occupied with Devon's plight and a possible new mystery to solve, the teenage sleuth had no patience for her biology teacher's condescending attitude. "Um, it's like REALLY hard to tell from your drawing and everything ..?" Kari affected her most exaggerated AS IF tone. "But those like APPEAR to be mitochondria ..?" The smug, mocking lilt in her voice conveyed an exasperated 'Duh!' "Don't they like produce energy for the cell or something ..?" A cold silence seeped through the room. The clicking of Mr. Burns' chalk ceased for ten long seconds. Someone in the back of the room coughed. "I'm sorry if you find this so pedantic, Ms. Gold," Mr. Burns flashed a cold, clenched smile. "In the future, I'll try to make my lessons more exciting for you. Perhaps, you'd like me to spice up things with some music videos." He put down his chalk, turned around, and fixed his eyes on the precocious ninth-grader. Instantly, she felt like a bug wriggling on the end of a VERY sharp pin. "Don't EVER leave my classroom without a hall-pass again," the teacher growled. "Do I make myself clear?" Kari nodded silently. "You're not in middle school anymore, Ms. Gold," Mr. Burns sneered derisively. "You would do well to keep that in mind." "Yes, sir," Kari mumbled. She wanted to stare straight back at the teacher, go eyeball to eyeball with him, the way she'd always faced off with bullies and assholes. But she just couldn't raise her head. Mr. Burns' gaze was withering. For the first time in a very long time, Kari Gold felt her face flush with warm, rosy prickles. "High School REALLY SUCKS!" she cursed to herself. 4 "You were THERE?!" Pam Erde eagerly questioned Kari. "You saw it .. I mean REALLY saw it?!" "Me and like twenty-six other kids in AP Bio," Kari Gold replied matter-of-factly, her fingers busily peeling a large, juicy orange. It was now fifth period lunch, and Kari, Pam Erde, Juanita Walker and Amy Hovan were sitting together at the end of a long cafeteria table. Already on the first day of school, Stratford High's cafetorium found itself segregated into the various cliques and castes that invariably dictate the social structure in every American secondary school. In biological terms, high schools resemble ecosystems, their student populations spread out over a bell-curved food chain. At the bottom of the parabola sit the bottom feeders, namely the geeks, brains, nerds, zeros and mentally challenged kids that provide easy prey for those occupying higher levels of the pyramid. At the apex of the curve stalk the predators - jocks, cheerleaders, hoods and sluts - whose sole purpose in life seems to be lording their popularity, physicality and sexuality over the silent majority propping them up. At the heart of the bell-curve graze the various herds of "average kids" - band fags, pep-club wannabes, stoners, thrashers, goths, punks, hippies, gays, motor-heads, artists, thesbos, newsies, pols and dreamers - each leading their own lives of inconsequential desperation. Occupying their own table in Darwin's lunchroom, Kari Gold and her freshman friends were at a crucial crossroads along the evolutionary trail. One wrong move could spell the difference between four years of prosperity and a slow, anonymous extinction. Already, natural selection had blessed one among them, namely Sue Jurkowski, with a quantum ontogenetic leap into the cheerleader phylum. The question now was whether or not she would leave her pack behind to fend for itself. Although no one spoke of it, each girl at the table tacitly noticed Sue's conspicuous absence. Every few seconds, their eyes would dart towards the cafetorium's entranceway, studying the crowds of students still filing in. "It's GOT TO be some kind of Spirit Week prank," Juanita Walker commented. Spirit - or Hell -- Week coincided with the opening of each school year. During this time, freshman cheerleaders and football players were subjected to relentless initiation rituals designed by sadistic upperclassmen. As she bit into the first section of her orange, Kari Gold considered Juanita's theory. Qarri's little display in Mr. Burns' AP Bio class certainly could have been a Hell Week stunt gone awry. Forcing the freshman squad to attend school sans panties or requiring them to burst into inopportune cheers certainly fit the bill for standard hazing high jinx. Combining the two, however, seemed like unnecessary overkill. The foremost objective of Hell Week was humiliation, not expulsion. Still, Hell Week did conveniently explain Sue Jurkowski's silent dread that morning. And, taken to its extreme, Spirit Week sadism might even have provided the impetus for Devon's first-period panic attack. But something still didn't add up - namely Gina Baldassario. Kari Gold had been exposed to enough cheerleaders in her fourteen years to know one immutable fact: the senior captain of the varsity cheerleading squad doesn't suddenly befriend a dorky freshman on the first day of school FOR NO REASON. Gina Baldassario had singled out Kari Gold. She'd known exactly who the girl detective was, and she'd initiated that first contact for a reason. All Kari needed to do now was find out why. "I feel sorry for her," Amy Hovan's soft voice interrupted Kari's silent analysis. "I mean I've never liked Qarri, but that was .. god, I mean how horrible would that be .. in front of ALL those people ..?" The shy girl literally shuddered as she imagined herself at the center of that kind of attention. "I'm with 'Nita on this one," Pam observed. "It's DEFINITELY a Hell Week thing. Those cheerleader bitches MADE her do it .. like some kind of initiation or something. They are ALWAYS doing stuff like that to the freshman. I heard that five years ago they super-glued this one girl's hands to her boobs. The school supposedly outlawed Hell Week after that .." "Yeah .. right," Juanita shook her head. "I wonder if that's what got Suze so freaked out," the pretty Latina pondered. "I mean did you see her this morning. She was totally wigging." "Did anyone happen to notice if she was wearing any panties?" Kari asked, trying her hardest to sound like she was only half-serious. "There is like NO WAY that Suze would put up with that kind of crap from anybody," Pam stuck up for her best friend. "She'd tell those bitches to go screw themselves if they tried to get her to do that." "Don't be so sure," Amy spoke softly. "Girls will do weird things once they become cheerleaders. Even Sue .." "And speak of the devil," Juanita whispered under her breath, her eyes glued to the front of the cafetorium. In an instant, all the girls whirled about to see Sue Jurkowski enter the lunchroom amid a sextet of five other cheerleaders. At the pack's head strode Captain Gina Baldassario, her soft Mediterranean features off-setting the grim determination in her jaw. At Gina's right-hand strutted Donna Penoyer, the junior beach bunny that was already being groomed for the captain's spot the next year. To Gina's left, sultry senior Gwen Nazarian turned A LOT of heads with her primeval black hair and exotic features. Even more eyes, though, were riveted to the Playboy-esque contours of sophomore Haley Vega, a girl whose porn-star name seemed destined to become a self-fulfilling prophecy. Rounding out the group, plump peppy sophomore Rochelle Urban fulfilled the high school's yearly obligation to feature someone less genetically blessed on the squad. Forgetting herself for a moment, Pam stood up and waved Sue over to where the girls were sitting. A cold chill swept over the table as Sue looked straight through Pam with glassy eyes, and then fell into step behind Gina Baldassario and the rest of the cheerleaders. Like a squad of robots, the six girls marched into the center of the cafetorium while every eye at every table followed their movements. "Yo, Gina," Richie Barber, the school's star halfback, called out. "Over here, babe." "Bitch .." Pam Erde hissed under her breath, her eyes shooting daggers at Sue Jurkowski's back. Embarrassed, the willowy ninth grader slid back into her chair, the hint of a tear welling in her warm brown eyes. "Take it easy, Pam," Amy Hovan tried to smooth her friend's visibly ruffled feathers. "It's probably just some kind of cheerleader business. I'm sure she'll be over here in a minute." "I wouldn't bet on it," Juanita fumed. Kari didn't say anything. Instead, she just watched the scene unfold. The sextet of cheerleaders still hadn't moved from the center of the cafeteria despite the fact that Richie Barber and several other football players were noisily beckoning them to the jock table. "Something's going on here .." Kari observed under her breath. "Come on, babe," Richie called out. An instant later, he left his teammates and approached Gina and the rest of the cheerleaders. "What's up?" "D..definitely NOT you," Gina stammered loud enough for everyone at the surrounding tables to overhear. "Huh ..?" Richie's jaw went slack. "Y..you heard me," Gina's voice quivered. "Last night you couldn't get UP to save your life." "What the h.." Richie started. "We heard all about it, Richie," Donna Penoyer cut him off with a shrill, nervous laugh. "How your little halfback couldn't even make it up to the line of scrimmage ..?" Someone at a nearby table burst out laughing. "Listen, if this is supposed to be some kind of joke," Richie protested, "it's not funny, okay ..?" "It's no joke, Richie," Gina replied, her jaw trembling as she spoke. "Th..the only joke around here is what's in your pants." As if to illustrate her jibe, the cheerleader captain raised her left hand for everyone to see. Then she pinched her thumb and index finger together until they hovered less than half an inch apart. More isolated pockets of laughter erupted from the surrounding tables. Richie Barber's dumbfounded expression turned to rage and then to stark, pallid terror. EVEN MORE LAUGHTER burst out over the brisk undercurrent of whispers and giggles. Rendered inert by horror and humiliation, Stratford High's star halfback could only stand by helplessly as the subdued snickers quickly whipped up into thunderous guffaws. Gradually realizing that a "situation" was brewing, the four teachers monitoring the cafeteria - Ms. Selman, Mr. Perry, Miss Kleinschmidt and Coach Watts - left their coffee klatch and began approaching the scene. Gina Baldassario tensed and glared at Richie, as if she were trying to will him into backing down. But the star halfback stupidly stood his ground, still not believing his eyes and ears. Gina Baldassario was humiliating him in front of the entire cafetorium, and KIDS WERE LAUGHING AT HIM. The cognitive dissonance had reduced him into a state of catatonia. "Sit down, Pee Wee," Donna Penoyer's voice cut through the caterwauling, briefly quieting the cafetorium. "We're through with you." Then, to the utter amazement of everyone, she turned to Richie's bewildered teammates at the jock table. "That goes for all you losers, too," she announced. "We're through with all of you .. for good." "What's going on here, gang?" Coach Watts was the first on the scene. "Nothing, we were just trying to sit down," Donna Penoyer answered for the rest of the squad. "Then let's move along, shall we ..?" The football coach sensed something was wrong, eyeing Richie and the cheerleaders curiously. As everyone in the cafetorium - students and teachers alike - watched with growing interest, the six cheerleaders hesitated for a moment, straightened their shoulders, and exchanged looks of grim solidarity. Then, as a stunned silence blanketed the lunchroom, Gina Baldassario nodded to her squad mates. Each girl bit her lower lip and nodded back in turn. "Let's do it, then," Gina whispered hoarsely. Chests thrust outward, hips shimmying and bare thighs churning beneath their short pleated skirts, the cheerleaders marched in resolute unison towards the far right corner of the lunchroom. "They're not going over to .." Pam Erde started. "No WAY .." Juanita cut her off. "Oh my God," Amy gasped. "This has got be some kind of .." ".. Joke," Kari Gold finished her friend's thoughts. "They are .. they're heading for the .. Geek Table." Although this was just their first day of high school, Kari and her friends were savvy enough to quickly analyze the cafetorium's seating arrangement and identify how the lunchroom was segregated between predators and prey. The same basic rules had applied at Stratford Middle School, too. Those at the bottom of the food chain sat as far away from the rest of the student population as possible, their eyes averted downward in a futile effort to camouflage themselves against the cold gray walls. "Why?" Amy Hovan voiced everyone's unasked question. "What are they doing?" Perhaps the most perplexed students of all were the geeks themselves: five boys and four girls who had spent their entire teenage lives doing EVERYTHING within their powers to avoid ANY interaction with the Gina Baldassarios and Donna Penoyers of the world. Now, however, they were sitting smack at the epicenter of ground zero during the BIGGEST social Armageddon ever witnessed within the walls of Stratford High. "Hi," Gina Baldassario was the first cheerleader to speak when the they reached the geek table. "M..may we sit here?" The cheerleader captain's greeting was met with abject, stupefied silence. Immediately, Kari Gold's trained skills as an observer noticed the unspoken irony in this encounter. The nine alienated students seated at the table were finding this situation just as excruciatingly awkward as the sextet of cheerleaders. For another ten seconds, both parties remained motionless. "P..please .." Gina whispered, "Please, Laura ..?" she directly addressed an overweight, bespectacled girl with a visible black moustache and a pronounced hairlip. "What are you doing here?" Laura Roszowski hissed back, her froggy eyes glaring out from behind her Coke-bottle glasses. "Y..you don't understand," Gina's hushed voice was barely audible over the pin-drop silence enveloping the lunchroom. "We WANT to sit here. I know it sounds crazy, but please .." She paused. "Steve ..?" she suddenly turned her attention to a sweaty, overweight boy who resembled Pugsley from the Adam's Family. "Take your Hell Week crap somewhere else," Steve Dolske found the courage to speak up now. His beefy face turned an indignant shade of red, and his 275-pound girth jiggled like a fibrillating bag of pudding. "Listen, Billy," Donna Penoyer stepped forward now, her eyes finding the smug gaze of a bony, pale boy with kinky black hair. "We need your help here. We're like begging you, okay ..?" "Tell us one good reason why we should help you," Billy McNamee demanded. His beady, intent eyes fixated on Donna Penoyer's trim, athletic body with an undaunted, almost familiar ease. Billy McNamee looked like a boy who had been fantasizing about such a table-turning encounter for a long time .. a VERY long time. "Why not do it just to be NICE ..?" Gwen Nazarian offered impatiently, her coal-black pupils searching out acknowledgment from a shrewish redhead whose entire face was obscured by a morass of oily, frizzy hair. "C'mon, Kathy ..?" Of all the beleaguered cheerleaders, the exotic-looking Gwen seemed even more uncomfortable with the present scenario than Donna or even Gina. "The way you were NICE to me back in ninth grade ..?" Kathy Hiber mumbled under her breath, her soft voice seeping through a veil of split ends. Others at the table echoed the sentiment with snorts and grumbles. "Come on, guys ..?" Rochelle Urban, the erstwhile geek turned cheerleader, implored her former friends. "Stu?" Her eyes focused on one in particular, a grungy, stringy-haired boy with acne and braces. "It's me .. Rochelle. Come on! Quit being so mean." She reached out and grabbed Stu by the shoulder. "Do you know what's MEAN?" he spit, shrugging free from her plump pom-pom girl's grasp. "Breaking a date for the junior prom because you just made the cheerleading squad, and then telling your boyfriend he's not GOOD ENOUGH for you anymore." "You tell her, Stu," Laura Roszowski chimed in. "Do you have any idea what you did to him?" a small, bat-faced girl squeaked. "He fucking cut his wrists." "But I ..?" Rochelle started. Gina reached out and pulled her squad mate back. Rochelle turned to her captain, silently pleading for another try. But Gina frowned and shook her head. The chubby cheerleader relented and stepped back into formation, her expression a mixture of despair and dejection. Obviously, Rochelle Urban hadn't anticipated the size of the gulf that now loomed between herself and the classmates she'd formerly considered her friends. STALEMATE - irresistible forces meeting immovable objects -- the cheerleaders continuing their relentless press while the geeks obstinately failed to budge. "H..hi, I'm Sue .. Sue Jurkowski," the breasty, blond freshman suddenly blurted out over the chasm of silence. Stepping in front of Donna, she extended her hand for someone .. anyone .. to take. "I .. I know this is all REALLY bizarre and everything, but we really do want to sit here. And we really do want to be your friends, honest .." "That's right, I forgot," a psoriasis-ridden blond murmured through her puffy, chapped lips. Half her face was covered with a prominent purplish birthmark, and her eczematous nose was running. "Cheerleaders never lie, do they ..?" "Listen," Sue bristled beneath the girl's sarcasm. "You don't even KNOW me." "We don't have to KNOW you," a bucktoothed boy observed. His eyes had been bobbing back and forth between Sue's and Haley Vega's prominent pairs since the girls had first approached the table. Now, as he talked, he didn't address the troubled cheerleaders as people, but rather as animated breasts. "We might be geeks to you, but we're NOT 'tards. We know something's up here. We know you're not doing this by choice. So, Billy's right. I mean what's in it for us if we're nice to you? Why should we even care?" Sue turned desperately to Gina, tears welling in her eyes. The pretty captain shook her head. This whole encounter was clearly going far worse than any of the cheerleaders had expected. "Fuck this shit!" Donna Penoyer hissed under her breath. Suddenly, she leaned over and peered straight into Billy McNamee's beady eyes, her luscious lips hovering millimeters from his smirk. "Tell us what you want so we can sit here, Billy," she cooed, her steamy breath condensing on the boy's beaklike nose. With every dumbstruck eye in the cafetorium gazing on, the bold beach bunny bent her head down towards the boy's chest, her long streaked tresses tumbling into his lap. Then, in a rush of herbal essence, she snapped her neck upwards, tossing her curls with a ticklish flurry over Billy's stoic features. "We'll give you anything you want," the tanned teen panted, swishing her head to one side and pressing her edible earlobes against the boy's trembling lips. "Anything at all .." After deliberating a moment, the boy finally whispered something in Donna's ears. Her eyebrows arched, and she gasped slightly before cracking her mouth into a tense smile. Then, as two hundred pairs of eyes watched in utter stupefaction, she slinked around to the other side of the table, embracing Billy, and curling up like a kitten in his lap. With a look of absolute triumph spreading across his features, the bony boy patted the cheerleader's head, and then buried his fingers deep within Donna's luxurious locks, scratching her behind the ears while she demurely acquiesced. Still not content with his total victory, he leaned over and whispered another demand into the distraught teen's ear. Biting her lip, Donna nodded again and looked up. She cocked her head back towards her squad mates and beckoned Sue and Haley with a crooked finger. Apprehensively, the two buxom cheerleaders approached Donna, their eyes staring straight ahead with resolute resignation. "You two sit there .. by Wally," Donna instructed, pointing to the bucktoothed boy. "One on each side." Billy nodded to the two geek-boys seated next to Wally, and they immediately surrendered their seats. Donna then waved her hands towards the empty chairs and nodded to Sue and Haley. When the girls didn't immediately follow her tacit command, she sucked her lips impatiently and nodded again. This time, the girls sensed the junior's annoyance and quickly complied, scooting their bosomy young bodies into the empty seats. Seconds later, they were flanking buck-toothed Wally like a pair of busty bookends. "They're all yours, my man." Billy reached behind Sue and patted Wally on the shoulder. "Enjoy." The bucktoothed boy stared in disbelief at Billy. The bony boy smiled back and nodded his head reassuringly. Tentatively, Wally lifted his arms and draped them about the girls' rounded shoulders. Still not totally accepting his good fortune, he bent his hands up and extended his fingers straight out, so as not to touch either cheerleader's chest. Observing Wally's discomfiture, Billy leaned back over and whispered in Donna's ears. The beleaguered beauty nodded, her eyes flashing uneasily. Without saying a word to either girl, Donna leaned over. Taking Wally's hands into her own, she placed his palms down atop Sue's and Haley's chests. "Don't worry, man," Billy encouraged his friend. "Grab a handful. They're all yours now." He nodded to Donna. "Go ahead, show him." Following Billy's lead, the junior cheerleader tightened her grip on Wally's hands, forcing the bucktoothed boy's fingers to cup one boob apiece on each girl. Seeing Sue and Haley cringe, Wally struggled against Donna momentarily before she further increased her pressure. "Just go for it," Billy egged on his stunned friend. "This is what you've always dreamed about, isn't it ..?" Wally nodded dumbly, and despite the girls' obvious discomfort he allowed Donna to coax his hands into a kneading motion. Within seconds, the bucktoothed geek found himself fondling and groping the buxom beauties with reckless abandon. Donna withdrew her hands and looked up to Gina, Gwen and Rochelle. "It's cool now, guys," she assured her squad mates. The three didn't move, though, watching in horror while Sue and Haley were openly molested. "I think we've reached an understanding here," Donna insisted. "Sit down." Gina looked at Billy McNamee, and the bony boy nodded in return. "Come on, guys," he addressed the others at the table. "Where are your manners? Let our new FRIENDS sit down." Still somewhat stupefied at the turn of events, the geeks slowly began rearranging the remaining chairs at the table, making room for three more cheerleaders. Gwen Nazarian spotted an opening next to Kathy Hiber and apprehensively sat down. Steve Dolske pulled up an empty chair and placed it between himself and Laura Roszowski. Gina Baldassario took her cue and quickly plopped down, hanging her head and trying to avoid the onslaught of eyes besieging her from every direction. Rochelle Urban was now the only cheerleader left standing. Reluctantly, she accepted an empty seat next to Stu, who couldn't help but sneer at his former girlfriend's comeuppance. Despite the fact that the confrontation had now ended and the cheerleaders were finally seated at the Geek Table, all eyes in the cafetorium continued spying on the unprecedented spectacle. Their jaws agape, the boys at the Jock Table glared menacingly towards the Geek Table. Murmuring among themselves, the host of muscle-bound athletes let their muted rage fester and feed off one another. Finally, after seeing the girls sit down, Richie Barber and Dale Piper decided to take matters into their own hands and stood up. "If you know what's good for you, you'll park it right back down," Coach Watts was suddenly cutting them off. "But coach," Richie hissed under his breath. "They're fucking GEEKS." "And you'll get suspended if you lay one hand on them," the football coach reminded them. "What's the team supposed to do then, Brainiac?" "But coach ..?" Dale protested. "Parkus thy carcass," the coach growled, "before I do it for you." Momentarily stultified, the two testosterone-charged teens sulked back into their seats. The coach nodded, and then remained stationed at their table for the rest of the period. "Something is DEFINITELY going on here." Kari Gold emerged from her mesmerized state and addressed her three friends. "What do you think it is, Kar?" Juanita Walker inquired, her eyes still fixed on the Geek Table. "Sue and the cheerleaders are in some kind of trouble," Kari answered. "That's the only logical explanation for their actions. Someone or something is coercing them into behaving this way." "Do you mean like in brainwashing?" Amy whispered. "I don't know," Kari mused. "But I'm sure as HELL going to find out." --------- THAT'S IT FOR PART 2.
