First, the wife speaks to the counselor alone. The counselor asks, "You say you've been married 20 years. So what seems to be the problem?" The wife replies, "It's my husband -- he's driving me crazy! I'm going to leave him if he continues!" "How does he drive you crazy?" "For 20 years," she says, "he's been doing these stupid things. First, whenever we go out, he's always looking at the floor and refuses to go near anyone. It's very embarrassing." The marriage counselor is amused, "Anything else?" "He keeps picking his nose all the time! Even in public!" "Hmm, anything else?" The wife hesitates, "Whenever we're making love, he NEVER lets me be on top! Once in a while, I'd like to be in control!" "Ah," says the counselor, "I think I'll talk to your husband now." So the wife goes out of the room and the husband enters. The counselor tells him, "Your wife says that you've been driving her crazy. She might even leave you." The husband looks shocked, "WHAT? For 20 years I've been loving and considerate, and I've always given her what she wants! What could be the problem?" The counselor explains, "She says that you've got these habits that are driving her crazy. First, you're always acting strange in public--looking at the floor and never going near anyone else." The husband looks concerned, "Oh, you don't understand! It's one of the few things my father told me to do in his deathbed and I swore I'd obey everything he said." "What did he say?" "He said that I should never step on anyone's toes!" The counselor looks amused, "Actually, that means that you should not do anything that would cause anyone else to get angry." The husband looks sheepish, "Oh. Okay." The counselor continues, "And you keep picking your nose in public." "Well, its another thing my father specifically commanded me to do! He told me to always keep my nose clean." The counselor looks faint, "That means that you should not indulge in any criminal activity." "Oh," says the husband looking very stupid. "And finally, she says that you never allow her to be on top during your lovemaking." "This," says the husband seriously, "is the last thing my father commanded me to do on his deathbed, and it's the most important thing." "What did he say?" The husband replies, "In his dying breath, he said, 'Don't screw up.'" Second note: A young man bought a new pair of boots, of which he was very proud. He decided to go dancing and give them a try. After dancing with one lady for a few minutes, he said, "I bet you I can guess the color of your panties." "OK," she replied. "What color do you think they are?" "Blue," he replied. "How did you know that?" she asked. "I saw the reflection in my shiny new boots," he said. "Here, she said. "Dance with my sister and tell me what color she has on." After dancing a while, the young man started rubbing his toes on his pant cuffs and started to dance again. After a few minutes, he asked the new lady, "What color panties do you have on? I can't seem to make them out." To which she replied, "I don't have any panties on." With a sigh of relief, the young man said, "Oh good! For a minute I thought I had a crack in my new boots." Third note: Johnny was in the playground with his friend Jimmy, when he noticed the brand new shiny watch Jimmy was wearing. "Did you get that for your birthday?" he asked. "Nope," Jimmy replied. "Well did you get it for Christmas then?" Johnny asked. "Nope." "You didn't steal it, did you?" "No," said Jimmy. "I went into Mom and Dad's bedroom the other night while they were 'doing the nasty'. Dad gave me his watch to get rid of me. Johnny was extremely impressed with this idea, and extremely jealous of Jimmy's new watch. He vowed to get one for himself. That night he waited outside his parents' room until he heard the unmistakable noises of lovemaking. Johnny swung the door wide open and boldly strode into the bedroom. His father, caught in midstroke, turned and asked him angrily, "What do you want now?" "I wanna watch," Johnny replied. <> Without missing a stroke, his father said, "Fine. Stand in the corner and keep quiet, then." The stories all seem to be pretty good. If you look them up on DejaNews, be sure to remember that the author is a Brit and spells Behaviour with a "u." In this story, Paul is an ordinary guy with the uncommon habit of exposing himself to the women in his social group and occasionally fucking them. That's not all that uncommon, I suppose; the really unusual part is that the ladies ignore him. It seems that the ladies have read their behavioral psychology textbook about halfway and have a superficial understanding of the concept of extinction. I learned about extinction in college. It refers to the strategy of eliminating problem behaviors by withholding the reinforcers that normally would have maintained those behaviors. For example, if a fisherman never catches any fish in one lake, he'll give up and try another. If a girl won't give a guy the time of day for a long enough time, he'll give up and go away. If a kid comes up to my desk and asks for help 700 times a day, I ignore him until he sits down and raises his hand and asks for help properly. Extinction also happens by accident. For example, a wife may give her husband a wonderful blowjob a hundred times, and he might fall asleep immediately thereafter each time. The principle of extinction means that the wife would stop giving blowjobs to this person. Hence, we have the Blowjob Principle, which means that if an author writes a good story, you had better write the author a note; otherwise the author's proclivity to write good stories for you will undergo extinction. In this story, the ladies think that if they ignore Paul long enough, he'll stop flashing them and fucking them. This would work, IF (and only if) the reason he was doing this was because he was seeking their attention. It didn't work, and so we must surmise that there is another reinforcer at work. Ratings for "Just Paul" Athena (technical quality): 9 Venus (plot & character): 9 Celeste (appeal to reviewer): 9 "A Knight to Remember" by Souvie (souvien22@yahoo.com). http://www.deja.com/getdoc.xp?AN=546983893 Sir Knight has lecherous tendencies. That is, he is wooing his sweetling with kind and loving words, but his heart is already given to another. The lass being wooed gets wind of his mischief. She doesn't get mad, she gets even. In other words, his perfidious ass is grass. I guess there's a place in the world for stories like this one. I found an interesting error in this story. The author uses the expression, "By Jove's holy rood she was sore!" The term "rood" refers to a crucifix, which is a distinctly Christian artifact. Jove wouldn't have had a rood, even if he existed. Ratings for "A Knight to Remember" Athena (technical quality): 9.5 Venus (plot & character): 9 Celeste (appeal to reviewer): 8 "My Demon Lover" by Jacob (Grumbl5000@aol.com). http://www.deja.com/getdoc.xp?AN=548351936 The guy is in the midst of a dry spell, when he is accosted by a horny chick – literally. She's a demon – with horns and all. Specifically, she's a succubus. Instead of skin, she has red fur; and she comes equipped with a prehensile tail, which she does not use for hanging from trees – at least not in this story. My favorite phrase in this story is when the author says the demon rides the guy's dick with abandon. The reason I like this is because it reminds me of the first sexual Tom Swifty I ever heard: "I'm glad you finally gave me an engagement ring, she said, as she ran her fingers across his dick with abandon." If you don't know what a Tom Swifty is, it's a specific type of pun, as in "The saw slipped, said Tom off-handedly." If anyone knows more sexual Tom Swiftys, please send them to me. As you may expect, this story comes to a fiendishly clever climax in the end. Ratings for "My Demon Lover" Athena (technical quality): 8 Venus (plot & character): 9 Celeste (appeal to reviewer): 8 "The Mark of Cane" by Jordan Shelbourne(jordan@compu-diva.com), http://www.deja.com/getdoc.xp?AN=547051015 The Lampwick boy is getting a beating from a moderately dimwitted teacher. This gets him thoroughly aroused. She's already aroused. The classmates titter. I seem to have missed something in my education. When the nuns threatened to beat the shit out of me for misbehaving, I behaved. It never occurred to me that it would have been fun – that I might have an orgasm if the nun swatted my ass with a paddle. I assumed they paddled us on the butt because we had more padding back there, whereas a similar blow to the face might have led to permanent disfigurement. In a way, this is sort of depressing, because there was a kid in my class who was a genuine dickhead, who used to get beatings all the time. I seriously doubt that the nun knew he was having orgasms. My only consolation is that I think both he and the nun remained fully clothed during the thrashings. I suspect that the non-nudity mitigated his pleasure to some extent. I suppose it is possible that many people will enjoy this story more than I did. I found it a sort of interesting insight into a sexual frame of reference that doesn't strike me as interesting at all. This is going to be another one of those 'you' narratives that don't work." It turned out that the second person point of view was just an excuse to set up a good 'I-she' story, and it worked very nicely. The narrator grew up on a farm in West Texas; so she wasn't really surprised to see the sex in the porn films that she watched with her friend's brothers. However, she had never seen a bull get a blow job or three horses getting it on with one another. Or two cows doing each other. So there was lots of valuable information for her young eyes, and she and her friend managed to experiment quite a bit with each other. The descriptions of the sex are hot and vivid. I especially liked the sentence, "We were like two mirrors making love." The third line of this posting says that the story is 'copyright July 2000.' Unless I am confused by some sort of Y2K problem, that date hasn't arrived yet. How can one copyright something at a time that hasn't come? I suspect that this may be some sort of witticism; but if so, I missed it. Anyway, the guy is about 30 years old. He's a bit depressed about his unsatisfactory love life. One day a beautiful woman named Nicki, who appears to be about ten years his junior, arrives on his doorstep and seduces him. She seems to know all about him. What is she, his fairy godmother or something? Close. Incidentally, Nicki is cheeky. That's good in Great Britain, where this story originated. This is a much better story than I can describe without ruining it for you. I hope to see many more stories by this author. Ratings for "A Posteriori" Athena (technical quality): 10 Venus (plot & character): 10 Celeste (appeal to reviewer): 10 "Benjamin" by GenericJoe (genericjoe@vnet.net). http://www.deja.com/getdoc.xp?AN=542892483 http://www.deja.com/getdoc.xp?AN=542892488 Jack is a guy who is sort of down on his luck. Then he gets recruited to become a vampire. This may sound like a bad idea, but when the man examined the pros and cons, the offer looked pretty good. First, he had access to a beautiful vamp who was fucking his brains out, and he was assured that there were plenty more where that came from. Then there was the promise of no disease and no aging. It sounded like a life of debauchery and lust with no end. How could he say no? I might point out that, aside from the minor component of debauchery and lust, this is almost exactly what seduced St. Anthony the Hermit when he founded the monk movement in Egypt many, many years ago. I don't understand monks, and I don't understand vampires. Maybe somebody that believes in vampires would like this story a lot more than I did. It's wr itten clearly enough. It just reads more like a comic book than a sex story. I hope the author keeps in mind that I don't like "The Imitation of Christ" either. That's the book the monks read in the Dark Ages. Some still do, I'm told. Let me put it this way. I went and saw a movie today called "Dogma." I didn't believe much that happened in that movie could happen in real life. But some of the emotions were real and the story actually shed some light on some topics of interest – like the meaning of life. I liked that movie a lot more than this story, primarily because the protagonists were doing things for a purpose that made sense to me – even though it was unreal. I'm a Catholic myself, and I laughed my ass off at the movie largely because my background gave me a basis for understanding what the movie was about, but I suspect "outsiders" would enjoy it too. As I said before, maybe a vampire or somebody who understands what vampires are supposed to do would like this story more than I did – or else the author should do a little more to make it palatable to "outsiders." Chocolate plays an important role, and "taking a woman's cherry" takes on a new and more literal meaning. This story reads a lot like an Ann Douglas story, but if Ann says it's by someone else, I can accept that. It's a well written, sexy story. I hope we see a lot more of them from this author. Review by Nick e-mail nick@cassandra.demon.co.uk. http://www.deja.com/getdoc.xp?AN=551763114 http://www.deja.com/getdoc.xp?AN=551765385 http://www.deja.com/getdoc.xp?AN=551765409 Firstly, this story came to me uncoded. It should be MFf (pedo). I'm not sure what to make of it. The characters were very well drawn and did not conform to the standard models that characterise sex stories normally. I could picture them and recognise them as human beings. This made the story somewhat disturbing. Molly Faber herself is a slightly unhinged 60-year-old who, we are told, has the body of a well preserved 40 year old. Her daughter, who is 40, is a somewhat unattractive lawyer who looks much like her father. The hero of the story, a retired policeman, is charged with the care of Molly and ends up in bed with her of course. He is also shown videos of the father getting a blow-job from the daughter, then aged six. I wrote in assd some time ago that maybe we should try writing about subjects that we found distasteful. This was not a well received idea, since most people write exclusively about whatever turns them on. Applying this principle it seems that this writer has tastes which range right across the spectrum from 6 to 60! If not, I cant help wondering what the background to the story was. It may even be true, but that seems incredible! My ratings for this are: Athena (Technique) 8 Venus (Plot/Character) 9 Appeal 7 "Darcy" by ShadowCleric (shadowcleric@hotmail.com) Guest Review by BillyG (hayden@mindless.com) http://www.deja.com/getdoc.xp?AN=548445993 http://www.deja.com/getdoc.xp?AN=548445996 http://www.deja.com/getdoc.xp?AN=548462738 http://www.deja.com/getdoc.xp?AN=548462740 http://www.deja.com/getdoc.xp?AN=548462742 The story "Darcy" by ShadowCleric is a variant of a familiar theme -- the older male neighbor, Mr. Killroy, who lusts after the nubile, 16-year-old girl next door. The subplot centers on the low-risk seduction of Darcy and takes the form of anonymous gifts. An extension of the "safe seduction" has the teen-age girl be the aggressor; accordingly, Darcy catches on and makes the move on Killroy. Over several chapters, Darcy sets the pace and decides on the mode of her surrender of virginity. Darcy's parents are painted as harsh and angry people. Once that's established, they disappear and it's unclear what their connection to the story really is. The low-risk approach to seduction may allay the protagonist's apprehensions, but it adds very little tension to a story. As well, a considerable and repeated suspension of belief is necessary to to sync with a tale that supposes the seducer has great voyeuristic views while the seducee sees nothing. The players are sufficiently buffered from reality that the erotic appeal is blunted. Ratings for "Darcy" Athena (technical quality): 9 Venus (plot & character): 8 BillyG (appeal to reviewer): 7 "Riding the Tiger" by Kellis (kellis@dhp.com). Guest review by Mary (maryjg@finebody.com) http://www.deja.com/getdoc.xp?AN=546770897 Kellis gives us an absolute beauty - intriguing, tantalising, sensual and enormously sexy, no sleaze, no physical violence. This is true erotica, an art form, and reading it one realizes instantly the clear distinction between erotica and porn. What we have is this: Perry Cross works with Ingerson; where we aren't told, but I'd imagine a South-East Asian/Far Eastern country, not just because of the tiger in the title but because of the atmosphere Kellis renders with such precision and economy. The air is humid, even torpid, I think; the city is probably a mess but it's a sprawl. Cross works for a high-tech company, Ingerson. Late one evening, Cross has a surprise visitor, a woman he does not know, Kate who hints of her own association with Cross' employer. She is naked when they meet and leads him to a room. Much steamy sex follows. But when Cross emerges from the toilet, she's gone. Harry looks for her at work, can't find her. There's trouble in the air. The project Cross has been working on is being reviewed by Kelly Frazier, the boss-bitch, plenty of attitude and a startling resemblance to the aforesaid Kate, down to the initials. Cross holds his own at the work meeting. Cut to evening - she is at his door again. More sex, of course, but just who is Cross with? Kate? Kelly? And what do all those dark hints of heads rolling and staff that is ballast mean for him? Well, all right, perhaps there's more than a bit of 'fem-dom' (horrid phrase, that) here, but it doesn't matter. The woman is manipulating, the man is being tormented, controlled, his life and feelings thrown into total disarray. But it really is stunningly well-realized: the writing is superb, it's well proofed - just the two errors I spotted: "he had to chuckled" and "*Chercher la femme*" - isn't it "cherchez"? - the plotting and structure is intricate, delicate, teasing. In a word, mightily sexy. Ratings, unreservedly: Athena (Technical Quality) : 10 Venus (Plot & Character) : 10 Mary (Appeal to reviewer) : 10 ===================== Reposted Reviews: ===================== * "Watching" by Alan Mathews (alanmath@hotmail.com). http://www.deja.com/getdoc.xp?AN=210021089 I got lucky tonight. No, not the way you think, although that happened too. I got lucky because my lessons for the rest of the week have been so well prepared over the years that I could afford to blow off about three hours reading this story. Sometimes a girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do. The boy and the girl first meet when the school bus breaks down and it gets cold and they have to share his coat. She's 13 and he's 18, but she's beautiful and he has a crush on her. They don't have sex. She falls asleep in his arms, and he doesn't even masturbate. She kisses him gently when she eventually gets off the bus. That's the kind of story this is going to be. But the action picks up quickly. Circumstances require Jenny to leave home; and since Alex happens to live alone most of the time he takes her in. Soon we discover that sleeping together and showering together leads to a certain level of intimacy. The sexual activities come across as both innocent and sexy. The story includes a genuine, interesting plot. This is a really sexy, romantic story. A minor problem is that the story contains numerous irritating errors. For example, the author consistently uses "to" instead of "too." Dr. Mathewson becomes Dr. Sampson a few paragraphs later. My advice to you is to ignore the errors and just enjoy the story. It's excellent! Ratings for "Watching" Athena (technical quality): 10 Venus (plot & character): 10 Celeste (appeal to reviewer): 10 * "Watching - Book 2" by Alan Mathews (alanmath@hotmail.com). http://www.deja.com/getdoc.xp?AN=551946380 This story is a sequel to "Watching," which I ranked number 16 among my Top 100 stories of 1996. You probably should read the original (Book 1) first - if only because it's enjoyable and was reposted at the same time as this sequel; but Chapter 1 of the present Book provides a good recap of Book 1. This story takes up the adventures of the very young couple and their baby as they return to their old hometown. They encounter some new problems, overcome some obstacles, grow closer together as a family, and have some great sex. Skyla is only two years old and is becoming interested in what mommy and daddy do in bed together, and the parents do an exemplary job of answering her questions in a way suited to her developmental level without introducing her prematurely to the rites of Venus. However, I believe some of the ideas that the author puts into Skyla's head would be much more realistic if she were, say, two or three years older. {I might also point out that there are almost certainly no two-year-olds in the real world who win at Monopoly against intelligent twelve-year-olds who are making a serious effort.} The scene in which Alex deflowers his young sister-in-law with Jenny's consent is best described as Pollyanna with an Attitude. But it's sexy stuff. The author consistently makes an interesting grammatical mistake. He uses "I" in situations that call for the objective case. Sportscasters do this all the time, but a.s.s. authors are supposed to be above that sort of thing. The easy way to deal with this problem is simply to mentally restate the sentence without the compound phrase. It's incorrect to use "me" as the SUBJECT of a sentence, and so it is WRONG to say, "Bill and me went out looking for some action." {Omit the compound subject. You would never say, "Me went out looking for some action."} On the other hand, it is correct to use "me" (and incorrect to use "I") as the OBJECT of a sentence or as the object of a preposition. Therefore, it would be WRONG to say, "John invited Sue and I over to his house for a quick threesome." {Omit the compound phrase. You would never say, " John invited I (or we) over to his house for a quick threesome."} It's that simple. I think the reason people make this mistake is because using "me" as part of the compound subject is the error that they make (and for which they get corrected) earlier in life; and so they overreact by saying "I" even in situations where "me" would be appropriate. Ratings for "Watching - Book 2" Athena (technical quality): 10 Venus (plot & character): 10 Celeste (appeal to reviewer): 10 * "Wrapped Attention" by Uther Pendragon (anon584c@nyx.net). http://www.deja.com/getdoc.xp?AN=308537374 http://www.deja.com/getdoc.xp?AN=308537384 http://www.deja.com/getdoc.xp?AN=308537377 This is a story about the first sexual experience of a young college student. It occurs during Christmas vacation with a man nearly twice her age. The author attempts to describe the activities as comprising a tender scenario, but I think he slows things down so far that the events become boring. This author usually writes vibrant, upbeat stories; but this one does not yet have those characteristics. My assumption is that he will return to the drawing board and inject into this story the energetic life that it deserves. Don't get me wrong. I think it's beautiful in real life to make love while conversing actively with one's partner and caring about his/her reactions. The stories in this author's "For..." series give that impression. I even believe that really boring lovemaking with a really wonderful person can be better than really exciting but meaningless stimulation with a shallow partner. However, if I am going to read a story like this, I want it to be interesting and lively as well as tender and meaningful. Guest review by David Rills. http://www.deja.com/getdoc.xp?AN=554520004 God, I love this story. I think it was written by a wicked woman because the sexuality is so loving. The story is told by a wife who describes the fifth anniversary present (things are getting a little too comfortable in the marriage) she presents to her husband. While not all that original, the slow, sensuous story is hypnotic. Read it slowly and enjoy.
