One of the contestants has been a 21 year old girl from San Francisco, a student at one of the universities there. I was so taken by the outline she submitted that I encouraged her to try the story on her own. I was surprised to not only find the story in my mailbox a day later, but over the next week a few more tales as well. At this point I greatly encouraged her to post her work to ASSM, explaining to her how to use hotmail, deja and the like to create a pen name. Unfortunately she is still hesitant about doing so. She did however ask me to post the original story for her. Thinking that we could always use more authors on the group, I’m acceding to her request. I did tell her however that I would only post the first story, anything beyond that was up to her. So if you like her tale, please send me comments that I could forward to her in the hope that she will be encouraged to post on her own.
