                                       ORANGE COUNTY BABYLON

                                       Disclaimer and Author's Note:

This story is a work of fiction. Any resemblance to real persons is
unintentional and strictly coincidental. Although this story refers to many
real places and organizations, such mention should not be taken to imply
either a relationship or approval of any sort.
This work contains explicit descriptions of sexual activity with and between
minors, and anyone offended by such things should read no further. This story
describes certain activities that would be illegal in the real world, and it
is not the author's intention to condone such behavior or to inspire people
who cannot separate fantasy from reality. If reception of this work is
illegal due to your age or other repressive local regulations, liability for
downloading it is your problem, not mine. This work is intended solely for
the quiet and private enjoyment of adults who enjoy quality erotica, and any
other use is a violation of the copyright. Reposting and archiving is
permitted, except where a fee of any sort is required for access, provided
this disclaimer and note remain attached to the story. All other rights are
reserved.

This story, like my previous ones, is an attempt to go beyond the usual
stroke material. A few caveats are in order, however. Because this is a
novel-length work (over 110,000 words), I will be parceling it out in
sections, one every few days. Furthermore, although there is plenty of sex in
it, there are also long stretches of action where nothing remotely sexual
occurs. This is because the story is supposed to be a realistic depiction of
the protagonist's life, not simply a catalog of his sexual behavior. As in
the real world, sexual activity has certain consequences, and that is what I
have tried to accurately describe.
The reader will note fairly quickly that this story appears to fall into one
of the worst stereotypes of low-grade erotica: the football player and the
cheerleaders. To this appearance I freely confess-but there is a great deal
else going on in here. The above-mentioned football hero and cheerleaders are
not your usual stereotypes, and I have gone to great lengths to make them
three-dimensional and interesting. Proof, perhaps, that you can make a silk
purse out of a sow's ear given enough effort. Nevertheless, should you have a
congenital allergy to football, you may want to skip this, as there is plenty
of explicit sports to go with the explicit sex.
Those of you familiar with Orange County, California, will note that I have
taken certain liberties in my descriptions, particularly with the locations
and athletic programs of area high schools. I did this solely out of
laziness-I wasn't interested in researching the actual composition of the
local high school football conferences.
This work is, in many ways, a satire. The views expressed herein should not
be taken as serious commentary on either the County of Orange, the Roman
Catholic Church, or the United States Marine Corps. I make one exception to
that disclaimer, however. My descriptions of the Orange County Foster Care
system do not in any way resemble reality. The actual system is currently in
very dire straits, and few, if any, children who go through it have
experiences as easy and pleasant as the protagonist's. Sexual abuse of foster
children is unfortunately not uncommon, and in real life, the consequences are
far different from what I have described here.

If you missed a chapter, feel free to e-mail me, and I will be happy to
supply the missing pieces. Intelligent comments and criticisms will receive
appropriate responses. Flames and juvenile slobbering go straight to the
recycling bin.

                                       THE STORY SO FAR:

Jack O'Leary, a Marine brat and high school senior, comes to live with the
Lynch family after his parents are killed in a car accident. Marcia Lynch, a
young widow, lives in south Orange County, California, with her two attractive
daughters, Karen, 17, and Kelly, 14. One night, Karen catches Jack
masturbating, and uses the secret as leverage to force him to sleep with her,
despite Jack's deep religious reservations. The next day, Karen gets him to
sleep with her friend Becky. Friday night, Karen has a slumber party, where
Jack meets the other members of the cheerleading squad: Michelle, a tall
redhead, Corrine, a busty brunette, Kisu, a pretty Asian girl, and Summer, the
beautiful blonde head of the squad. That night, Jack services all six of
them. As Part I ends, Jack returns to his room after a long night of sex.
Part II begins with Summer sneaking into Jack's bed the next morning. She
confesses her lust for him and her problems with her current boyfriend, Billy
Mason, the quarterback of the football team. That night, despite his doubts,
Jack comes on during the second half, and helps win the game on a fumble
recovery. After the game, Summer finds him and again expresses her attraction
to him. Billy nearly catches the two of them, and later that night, at the
post-game party, Summer and Billy get into a fight. Jack takes Summer home,
where they make love in her driveway.
Sunday afternoon, Jack runs into Kisu at the library, and they study together
for a few hours. She then explains how she has learned a great deal from her
mother's "pillow book," a Japanese sex manual. They return to her house and
engage in several hours of exotic sex.
That Monday, Jack nearly gets into a fight with Billy over Summer, and the
football coach chews out both of them for their behavior. During lunch,
Corinne explains to Jack that she is really a lesbian and that Michelle is her
girlfriend, so he doesn't need to pay much attention to either of them. After
football practice, Jack runs into Becky, who complains that Jack is ignoring
her. They return to Becky's house, where Becky proposes that they play a
version of "Truth or Dare," asking each other sensitive questions. Jack
confesses his reservations about their arrangement, and Becky breaks down
crying, explaining that she never wanted him to get hurt. As Part II ends,
they agree that whatever else happens, they can be good friends.
Part III begins with a long segue, explaining Jack's developing relationship
with Summer, Becky, and Karen, and his application to the Naval Academy. Jack
has slowly fallen in love with the two blondes, but his relationship with
Karen remains confrontational, though still passionate. As Part III opens,
the deepening emotions with Becky and Summer provoke a dispute between the two
girls, as Summer has a jealous fit over his attentions to Becky and the gossip
it is beginning to generate around the school. Before Homecoming, Jack learns
that a scout from the Naval Academy will be watching the Homecoming Game, just
as the dispute between Summer and Becky threatens to expose their arrangement.
Desperately afraid that his appointment is now in danger, Jack throws himself
into the game, scoring another touchdown and deeply impressing the scout. As
the game ends, Jack sees Becky and Summer apparently talking something out,
but they leave before he can talk to them.
The next day, before the Homecoming dance, Jack ruminates about what to do.
He tries to call the two girls, but neither is available. He arrives at
Summer's house that night, where she explains the agreement she has reached
with Becky. They have decided that they are good enough friends to share
Jack, and that they don't want to hurt him. Jack is to take both of them to
the dance to show everyone that they don't care about the gossip. Jack
professes his love for both of them, generating a round of tears and emotion.
At the dance, Randy Nelson pulls Jack aside, and tells him about rumors he
has heard about Corinne and Michelle being lesbians, and makes a jocular
remark about the possibility of the whole cheerleading squad getting it on.
Jack manages to keep his cool and tells Randy to get his mind out of the
gutter.
After the dance, Randy and Joe Dickson get together to discuss the rumors.
They agree that Corinne and Michelle may well be lesbians, but discount the
idea of anything going on between Summer, Becky, and Jack, believing in their
pious public personas. They plot some method of spying on Corinne and
Michelle to see what is really going on.
Summer, Becky, and Jack return to Becky's house, and make love together in
the loft over Becky's garage. After mutual expressions of love, Part III
comes to a close.
Part IV begins that same night. Flush with their newfound connection, Summer
asks Jack if there is any way he can stop sleeping with Karen and Kisu. Jack
realizes the problems in such a plan, but agrees, feeling like he has to do
it. He and Summer plot to expose Kisu's activity with the pillow book to her
parents. The next day, Summer breaks into Kisu's house (knowing where they
keep the spare key), and disturbs her mother's closet so she will know Kisu
has been reading the book.
The plan works, and Kisu's mother has a fit, grounding her for a month. Kisu
tells Jack they have to cool it. That night, while discussing what happened,
Karen asks Jack if he loves Becky and Summer. Not sure what she is getting
at, he says he does. Karen then asks how he feels about her. Surprised, he
is unable to answer her, and his reaction is enough. She runs back to her bed
and cries herself to sleep.
Baffled at her reaction, Jack explains what happened to Summer and Becky.
They conclude that Karen indeed loves Jack, though they are not sure what to
do. That night, Marcia explains to Jack about Karen's close relationship with
her father, and postulates that Jack's presence may be dredging up old issues
Karen has never dealt with.
Meanwhile, Randy and Joe's plan to spy on Michelle and Corinne comes to
fruition. Joe lives across the street from Corinne, and he sees her leaving
late one night. He thinks she might be going to see Michelle and follows her,
taking his father's video camera. He meets Randy in the park where Michelle
and Corinne have gone to make out, and they videotape the two girls making
love.
Later that week, Kelly asks Jack for help with her math homework, and after
several hours of work, Kelly reveals that she knows about Karen's secret trips
through bathroom to visit Jack. Shocked, and in need of some to talk to, Jack
confesses the entire story. Kelly is amazed, but seems to understand. She
finally tells Jack that he needs to stop letting the girls make all the
decisions. She tells him that she is sure Karen loves him, and begs him not
to do anything to hurt her.
Jack is unable to corner Karen before the game that weekend, which is against
their rivals for the conference championship. Jack has a bad first half,
still worrying about Karen, and the team falls behind. At half time, Jack
sees Karen standing on the roof, and races up there to stop her from doing
anything rash. On the roof, he and Karen have an emotional confrontation, and
he realizes that he does in fact love her, since she alone can really
understand his anguish at having lost his parents. He carries Karen off the
roof to the applause of the crowd of fans and players.
When the game restarts, Jack is revitalized, and leads a dramatic comeback.
As the game, and Part IV, ends, Karen reappears. She embraces Jack on the
sidelines, and finally declares her love for him.

                                                  PART FIVE

                                                      XXIII.

On a Thursday afternoon in early December, Joe Dickson sat in his room
watching his tape of Corinne and Michelle. He had lost track of the number of
times he had masturbated to it, and wondered how he and Randy had been able to
keep it a secret this long. Rumors were still drifting around the school
about the two cheerleaders, but it was becoming old news. He thought he could
detect some distance between Corinne and Michelle, as if they were trying to
deflate people's curiosity, but he knew better. He still saw Corinne leaving
her house once or twice a week late at night, and he knew where she was going.
He hadn't followed her again-he thought it was unlikely he would be so lucky
twice-but he had often thought about it.
Joe was a virgin. He had come close a few times, but he hadn't dated the
kind of girls who were willing to go all the way. His heart-or at least his
balls-had long been set on Corinne anyway, and knowing now she was out of
reach, he hadn't dated as much anymore. He thought that was why he talked so
much trash in the locker room, though he kept trying to stop himself. He knew
the old saying: "Those who talk the most get the least," so it made sense.
He thought about Jack O'Leary. No other player on the team so completely
refrained from participating in their sexual banter, and he had the hottest
girl in school. Not just one of the hottest, three of them. He lived with
Karen Lynch, and Becky Smith hung around him so much Joe would have considered
her his girlfriend had he not been dating Summer. Hell, Karen acted like it
herself sometimes. And Jack had brought two girls to the Homecoming Dance.
He had half the cheerleading squad for a harem. Was something going on he
hadn't suspected?
He found it hard to believe, for a lot of reasons. He had known Summer for
four years, although they had never really been friends. She had stood on
this lily-white pedestal for so long-Billy was hardly the first one to get
knocked off trying to climb up on it-that he found it almost impossible to
believe that she had finally surrendered her virginity, no matter how hooked
she was on Jack. And what he'd told Randy that night was true. Jack sounded
like Father Roberts sometimes in class.
Maybe it wasn't Summer; maybe he had something on the side with Becky or
Karen. Yet both girls were so open and obvious with their attentions that he
found that hard to believe. Certainly Summer would never stand for it if she
had the slightest suspicion. So what was the deal? Was it possible for one
guy to have access to all that pussy and not do anything?
Joe had no interest in drawing the disfavor of Jack O'Leary. Jack was the
star linebacker; Joe was a defensive back, sometime starter, and occasionally
played wide receiver. Most of the school worshipped Jack, especially after
the way he rescued Karen that night, then rescued the football team. Joe
understood how the cliques worked, and knew he would lose any social
confrontation. As for any other sort, well, he had been near Jack and Billy
that day, and had seen how easily Jack had defended himself. There was no way
he was going to provoke Jack into doing anything violent. But the more he
thought about it, the more he had to know what was going on.
He would have to do this alone. Randy and Jack were good friends, and Randy
might punch him out for even suggesting they spy on Jack and Summer. Spying
was maybe not the best method anyway. He looked back up at the screen,
watching Corinne convulsing in orgasm, and had an idea. He didn't necessarily
have to tell the whole school about this tape. Telling just one person might
accomplish his objective.

With Karen's situation resolved, Jack began to feel as if he had more good
luck than anyone deserved. He now had three girls who were crazy about him,
and they were, though he had trouble understanding it sometimes, just fine
with each other. They began calling themselves the "Three Mousketeers," and
joked about it so much that Jack became concerned about someone overhearing
them.
The football team was into the soft side of its schedule, and won two more
games, routing a pair of overmatched opponents by scores of 31-6 and 42-0.
Jack scored another touchdown on an interception return in the second game to
extend his record to six.
Jack got a call from an aide to their congressman in the first week in
December.
"Everything is in place now, Jack. We've sent off your packet to Annapolis,
so there's nothing more for you to do but wait. We all wish you luck, but I
don't think you really need it. Just on the qt., I'll tell you I've seen
people with less impressive records than yours get in. So, I'd suggest you
not make any plans for next summer. I think you're likely to be lined up with
the other cadets."
"Um, it's plebes, sir, but thank you for saying so."

As the semester wore on, he continued tutoring Kelly. Although, unknown to
anyone else, she knew what was going on, she kept her promise to Jack and said
nothing. She did discreetly tease him about it on occasion, and became more
and more attached to him, though only in a sisterly fashion. Her grades began
to climb and she began to show some basic facility with algebra.
Kelly hadn't, at least when school started, been particularly popular amongst
the freshman class. She was pretty enough, but she didn't have her older
sister's political instincts and didn't have a lot of self-confidence.
However, once Jack's star had risen, Kelly's began to rise behind it. Simply
having Jack as a brother (she never referred to him as her foster brother) was
enough to get people's attention.
Sunday afternoon a week after the 42-0 game, he came back from spending the
day with Becky to find Kelly sitting around the den with four young girls he
didn't recognize. All of them turned to look at him when he came in. They
were nice-looking, but like most girls Kelly's age, skinny and coltish.
"Hi, Jack," Kelly said, and all four of the others followed with "Hi, Jack,"
after her like parrots.
	"Hi."
Then they all froze up as if they didn't know what to say.
	"What are you guys doing?"
"Nothing, just hanging out," Kelly said.
"That was a great game last week," one of the other girls said.
"Yeah," two of the other said.
Kelly turned to her friends, then back to Jack.
"Um, Jack, this is Brianna, Elizabeth, Katie, and Jen."
	"Hi. Nice to meet you."
"Where did you go?" Kelly said.
	"I was over at Becky's."
"Are you going to see Summer tonight?"
	"We went out last night."
"Oh. What are you doing now?"
He could tell from the yearning look in her eyes that she wanted him to stay
with her for a little bit to impress her friends.
"I was just thinking of watching some TV."
	"Oh, cool, so were we."
The girls tried to clear a spot on the couch for him, but he waved them off
and sat on the floor near the television set. He grabbed the remote.
"What did you want to watch?" he asked, knowing they would probably say,
"whatever."
	"Oh, whatever," Kelly said.
Jack flipped around, not finding much. He hoped to find some kind of game on
ESPN, but they were running one of the "World's Strongest Man" segments. The
contestants were performing circus-act feats of strength like lifting
showgirls and carrying 200-lb chunks of cement up flights of stairs. The
girls all laughed in amazement.
"Could you do that, Jack?" one of them asked. He already forgotten who was
who.
"I don't think so. I'm not that big."
"How much can you bench press? My brother is into lifting weights."
	"About 275."
	"Oh, wow."
"That's, like, three of us," another of them said, and they all laughed.
"Could you do that?" Kelly asked. "Bench press three of us?"
	Jack laughed.
"I don't know. How much do you weigh?"
	"Umm, 95lbs."
	"Okay, come over here."
The girls giggled nervously as Jack stretched out on the floor.
"Get above me like you're going to do a push-up."
Kelly maneuvered above him, feet down by his, and he put his hands on her
chest, just below her breasts. She giggled, bringing her arms in. Jack
lifted her up into the air easily.
"It's harder this way than on a weight bench. Get off a second."
Kelly rolled onto the floor, and Jack sat up. He pulled some magazines and
the two coffee table books off the den table and laid them out on the floor as
a makeshift bench.
	"Okay, let's try again."
Kelly got over him again, and one of her friends laid on her back. Jack
lifted them both up, with somewhat more difficulty, as the two girls squealed
in delight.
Jack lowered them down, and the three remaining girls shoved each other
trying to be the last one on. With three girls piled on top of him, he pushed
up, grunting, lifting them slowly. Kelly began laughing and groaning, since
most of the weight was centered on her chest.
	"Ow! Ow!"
Jack got them up, then the other two girls jumped on to them, and they all
came down on top of Jack in a shrieking, giggling pile of pubescent
femininity. Jack let them squirm and laugh on top of him for a few seconds,
then began tickling them to get them off.
The shrieking and laughing brought Marcia down the stairs.
"What on Earth are you girls doing?"
"Um, nothing, Mom," Kelly said, and then resumed giggling.
"Jack, they aren't bothering you, are they?"
	"No, ma'am, it's all right."
"Let's try not to make so much noise, okay, folks?"
Marcia went back upstairs, and they resumed watching TV.

Kelly came up to his room after dinner with her math homework.
"Thanks for hanging out with us today."
	"No problem."
"My friends think you're like, a god, or something."
	He laughed.
"It's not easy being a freshman. I hated freshman year."
"I know, so do I. Oh, but guess what? Tommy Ryan asked me to the Christmas
dance. He's a sophomore. I didn't think he knew I existed."
	"That's great."
"It's because of you, you know. I didn't have this many friends in eighth
grade. But people like me now because you're so popular. It's going to suck
when you graduate."
"If they're real friends, they won't desert you when I'm gone."
	"I hope so."
He gave her a hug, and she held him tightly.
	She giggled.
	"I like hugging you."
	"Me too."
They worked on her math for a little while. When they got to a stopping
place, Kelly glanced at the bathroom door and lowered her voice.
"Karen was in here a long time last night."
	"Yeah."
	She looked up at him.
	"Do you like it?"
"You mean . . ." He couldn't make himself finish the sentence.
	"Yeah."
"I still think it's wrong. But yeah. When you love someone, it's like
nothing else in the world."
"Wow. I wonder if I'll ever be in love like that."
	"Some day."
	She sighed.
"I've had a crush on Tommy Ryan for a while, but I know it's not love. Not
love love."
"There are a lot of different kinds of love."
	"I know."
"What's going to happen with Karen and the rest of them when you guys
graduate?"
"I don't know. We haven't much talked about it. I think we've been avoiding
the issue. It can't last forever."
"Yeah. You could only marry one of them."
"We're a long way from worrying about that."
"Did Karen tell you where she's applying to college?"
"No. I haven't thought to ask her."
"She said Georgetown. That's near Annapolis, isn't it?"
Jack felt a chill run down his back.
"It's in Washington D.C. That's about half an hour away, I think."
"So you could still see her if she was there."
	"Yeah."

They finished up Kelly's homework, and Jack went to work on his. As he
expected, Karen returned to his bed after the lights were out.
She held him off when he tried to embrace her.
	"Wait."
	"What?"
"Was I hallucinating earlier tonight or were you actually discussing our
little arrangement with Kelly?"
	He groaned.
	"It's a long story."
"Well, I've got all night. I'm dying to hear this one."
"She sort of knew before I said anything. She knew you had been coming in
here. She's been following you into the bathroom and listening."
	Karen's jaw dropped.
	"Oh, shit."
	"Right."
"But what the hell did you tell her?"
"It was last month, when we got into that fight. I was going out of my mind.
I had to talk to someone. When I was helping her with her homework, she just
said, 'I know why Karen is mad at you.' She sort of dragged it out of me."
"And you told her? About Summer and Becky and everything?"
"Yeah. I had to talk to someone about it. And it helped. She really helped
me understand what you were going through. I might not have understood
otherwise."
She fell back onto the bed.
"Oh, God. What did she say?"
"She seemed to understand. And I swore her to silence. As far as I know,
she hasn't told anyone. I don't think she will. She's all popular now with
the freshmen because she's my sister. She even thinks she got a date to
Christmas dance because of me. She won't screw that up."
Karen sighed, putting her hand to her head.
	"Who is she going with?"
"Tommy Ryan. I think he's on the J.V. squad. I can't quite put a face to
the name. But she was all excited about it."
"I know him. He's sort of cute, for a sophomore."
She rolled over, laying her head on his chest.
"How was your date with Summer last night?"
"Good. We went to see 'The Runaway Jury.'"
	"How was it?"
"Not bad. Summer was talking afterward about going to law school."
	Karen laughed.
"Summer as a lawyer. God. She'd be ruthless. I can just imagine it."
	"While we're on the subject."
	"What?"
"You didn't mention about applying to Georgetown."
He felt her tense up next to him.
"It was supposed to be a surprise. Who told you?"
	"Kelly."
"Damn it. Why can she keep your secrets and not mine?"
"Did you tell her not to tell me?"
"No. It's no big deal. We were going to tell you this week."
	"We?"
"Um. Yeah. All three of us are applying."
	"You, Summer and Becky?"
"Yeah. It's not just because of you, before your head swells too much. We'd
talked about going to the same school before we even met you. We wanted to go
some place back East. We weren't dead set on doing this; it was just an idea.
But when we got together a couple of weeks ago to go over our college
catalogues, we kind of all settled on Georgetown. It's a good school, it's a
Catholic school, which Becky and Summer's parents like, not that Mom doesn't
care, it's back East, and it would be near you."
	"That's if I get in."
"You will. But don't get too excited about it yet. There's no guarantee
we'll all get in, or even any of us will."
	He sighed.
"I'd like it if you did."
"I know. It would be neat. I don't know how long this thing with all of us
can last, but at least college won't be the reason for ending it."
