FF rom {Brother_Cadfael@earthcorp.com} SYNOPSIS: She watches intently as a beautiful woman enters the coffeehouse. -[ In Walked Perfection ]- I distinctly remember that she wore a dress of crushed purple velvet. Absorbed in my book, I did not see her enter the waterfront café, but when I heard that sultry cinnamon and rose voice ordering a latte, my eyes fluttered upward and scanned the counter area for angel it belonged to. She stood tall and elegant; her small black purse hung over her left shoulder. Her hand clasped it to her side. Long black hair twirled past her shoulders. She reached a hand to take her latte from the man behind the counter and I saw how light and even her skin was, as if she were a celestial body floating in space back-lit by the sun. With her free hand she brushed her hair away from her face. I caught a glimpse of her ears. So intricate. Narrowed slightly at the top to give her the look of a wood nymph. She walked to the end of the counter and carefully metered sugar into her drink. Her back faced me. Her shape was alluring. Slender body and gently curved hips. Her arms were graceful as she moved them. Her dress danced with the motion of her body and hugged hungrily to her. The hemline stopped just above her knees. The woman turned and scanned for a seat. I was at a table wide enough to seat six. Despite the crowd I was the only one to sit at this table. She came toward me, hips swaying subtly. One foot snaked around the leg of a chair and scooted it from the table. She set her coffee across from me and sat before it. She had a beautiful chest. Her breasts were well sized, but did not overcrowd her clothing. Ample and healthy is an accurate description. The cleavage was hidden behind the dress, for it covered her completely and formed into a sheik turtleneck. She sipped from the cup and licked her lips. A pretty pink tongue. Thin and longer than average. The warmth between my thighs spoke of my jealousy toward that paper cup. My eyes were still transfixed upon her. I was drawing in as much material as I could. This could fuel my evening alone after work, soaking in a bubble bath. She looked up from her latte. I darted my staring eyes away, but not quick enough. She had certainly caught me watching. I wondered if she immediately thought I was weird in the way that I had looked at her. She smiled. God, those lips and those dimples forced a ripple in the small of my back. "Hello," she said. My voice stuck momentarily before I responded with a stupid sounding "Uh... Oh -- hi." I wanted to shrink and run away. I sounded like at idiot. Why hadn't I said something a little sexier? Or at least more intelligent sounding? I was scared that she might think I was a lobotomy patient. Another drink and she flicked her tongue about her lips. "It's been a long day," She said. "Too long," I replied. Come on, stupid, I thought to myself, do something. Say something. The worst thing that could happen is you look foolish. She really had my going and I was frustrated with my inability to assert myself. But she was so gorgeous. If she were an average looking girl, I could at least give it a shot. But she was too delicious. Stunning. Too good for me. She smiled again. It looked like an uncomfortable smile and was awkward on such a confident face. She finished her coffee, deposited the paper cup in a trash bin and briefly waved at me before leaving. I watched her down the sidewalk until she disappeared from my sight and became just another person in a crowd far away. Out walked beauty. -- +--------------' Story submission `-+-' Moderator contact `------------+ | story-submit@qz.little-neck.ny.us | story-admin@qz.little-neck.ny.us | | Archive site +--------------------+------------------+ Newsgroup FAQ | \ .../assm/faq.html> /
