Especially with chapters like this. A Master's Ring Part 11 Rape ------ Rape is about power. The power of a weak person to take.------------------ The phone ringing woke me up the next morning. I reached for it by bed- side but it wasn't there. I heard someone next to me say hello. The low voice was easily recognizable and it brought back still frames of the previous night. The voice became anxious. I couldn't quite make out what was going on so I pushed myself up to sit on my heels and look at Sheila. She looked at me and I could see a thin sheen of tears in her eyes. My brow furrowed as I watched her whispering on the phone. "Is she alright?" That got my attention real fast. I looked at her questioningly. She had the bedsheet held tightly right beneath her neck as she continued "We'll be right there." She hung the phone up and looked at me. "There's been a problem. We're all meeting at your house." she told me quietly. I got up from the bed and headed to the closet where I had carefully hung my clothes. I started taking things off the hangers and putting them on. She got of bed and threw herself at the drawers in her room. Out of the corner of my eye, I admired her compact feminine build. I had enjoyed last night, and reassert dominance in our relationship. She had accepted it and enjoyed herself also. She quickly put on the underwear she pulled out of the drawer, and walked over to get clothing out of the closet. We finished dressing hurriedly, and headed outside. I started walking to my car with her just a step behind. I held the passenger door open for and she folded herself inside. I got in on my side and started the car. It was only fifteen minutes to my house but I wanted answers now. "Who is we, and what is going on?" I asked insistently. "A Sibling was just raped." Something inside me went away. I tightened my grip on the steering wheel. I nodded for her to continue. I could feel her eyes watching me, waiting for a reaction, and nodding as none came. "Her mother's a Sister which makes the whole situation even worse. Her mom is here with another Sister, and about 10 Brothers. You are all the Brothers near her right now. They are going to figure out what to do." I could hear a touch of wariness in her voice. There was more and inside I knew what that more was. We sat quietly for the rest of the drive to my house. Sheila fidgeted every now and then but mostly she either watched the road or me. I was thinking about the situation and what could be done. We pulled into my driveway finally. There was a lot of good taste in cars parked along the street. It spoke that we were probably one of the last people to arrive at this impromptu meeting. Sheila waited in the car until I came around to the open the door for her. She got out and walked purposefully toward the door. I closed the door and watched the street for a moment. It was empty, the sky was a beautiful blue. We had slept till about mid-afternoon before the call had come. I turned around to see her waiting for me at the open door. She was still watching me, waiting. I walked up to the door and inside. I could hear quite whispering in the living room to my left. The double doors had been slid open. I walked in to see an attractive older redheaded woman sitting down while a group of people stood around her with varying looks of concern, anger, and support. She looked up at me as I walked in. There was anger in dark green eyes, concern but the overwhelming emotion was anger. Everyone turned to looked at me. I could see most of the people that had interviewed me. Samantha, the attractive blonde sister that had interviewed me first got up from kneeling beside the redhead's chair to look at me. I could see Robert and Edgardo there also. The rest was made up of the final interviewing Brothers and others I had not met yet. They all watched me finally almost as a unit they nodded together. I walked into my room and closed the double doors behind me. I stood there watching it. The bed was unmade and looked slept in. I wondered at that. I knew that Melisa liked to sleep there if I was not at home for the night. But she was usually very careful about make the room look pristine if she used it. I walked to my closet stripped out of my clothes put on jeans and a black denim shirt and walked back outside. A heated discussion was going on between the redhead and Edgardo. He had been the one used to test my jealousy. He was easily six inches taller than me, a Spaniard and probably one of the best looking men I had ever met. "You couldn't have known, Edgardo." from Robert the second interviewer, he had admitted he was one of the few homosexual Brothers in the Society, but after a few moments I had understood why he was one of us. "Yes, but I should have been more careful. I mean I just took her in the hallway as if no one could be watching. Part of me wanted people to notice." "You can take no blame here, Edgardo." the redhead's voice was strong but the underlying strain could be heard. "Our Sibling served as is her place. Neither she nor you can take the blame for what these animals did." Everyone in the room nodded. "How is she?" I asked. The redhead turned to look at me again. She spoke "My crest Sibling, her father, is with her. She is badly injured physically and unfortunately even more so psychologically. Old Siblings don't handle that type of treatment, well." "Old?" I asked. "She was raised in the Society, David." Samantha spoke to me, "Most of those raised in the Society are Brothers, but a few like Melisa and Stephanie choose the white ring." "How bad are her injuries?" Edgardo asked. I looked around it was obvious that no one had wanted to ask that question until I arrived. "She's not critical." the redhead answered "But she'll have to stay in the hospital for at least a week. Mostly broken ribs, a broken wrist and a lot of bruising." "How did it happen?" I asked sitting down almost directly across from her. She looked at me. The others began to sit down also waiting for the details. "She was taken in her apartment. The day after Edgardo left her. They caught her at the door and forced her inside. They beat her for kicks and raped her repeatedly for that night and the next day. One of the neighbors finally had the courage to do something and call the cops. The two guys got away though." Her voice was mechanical, she was a Sister but some part of the mother was trying desperately to break through. She gave a folder to Samantha who looked inside and gasped. I saw her turning pages studying different portions of what was inside. Once she was done she passed it to the Brother sitting next to her. I saw him open it and a momentary flash of rage crossed his face. It continued we all waited for it to get to us. I got it finally and opened it. There was pictures inside of the Sibling. You could not really tell much through the bruises. Dark red hair, burning a deeper red than her mother's. Different pictures showed that bruises covered most of her body. They had been thorough about their work. It looked as if they went out of their way to ensure that she felt pain everywhere on her body. I read the written report cataloging her injuries. I got to the end and was surprised there was a copy of the police report in the back. It was more informative about the attack than the report given to us by our Sister but not by much. I turned to look at the picture of her face again. I could see the green in her eyes, very much like her mother. I studied her eyes carefully. There was nothing behind them. I turned to other pictures that showed her face and eyes. They all said the same thing. Empty. I closed the folder and passed it over. I sat quietly absorbing what I had just been shown. The features, what could be made out of through the incredible amount of discoloration, had been more fragile than the mother's. The complexion itself it seemed had been pure and almost creamy. There was a lot missing from her, inside, now. That it would take a lot for her to recover had been made perfectly clear in the report of her psychological state. She had spent almost twenty-four hours enduring continuedforced anal, and vaginal penetration and violent enough enough oral copulation to rip the inside and sides of her mouth open. The report finished its round through the Brothers. Through the doors, Melisa, Rachel and Sheryl walked in carrying drinks and a small tray of finger sandwiches. Everyone allowed themselves to be served a drink but declined any food. I turned to Sheila standing against the stairs leading to the upstairs. She was watching all of the Brothers in the same way that she had watched me in the car. Melisa and Sheryl had the same expectant air of watching about them. I turned to study Rachel, she had been studying me but there was something different in the way she did. She turned the instant we made eye contact, and started to study everyone else in the room. I watched her eyes travel from black ring to black ring and finally settle on the open folder lying on the footrest. I looked down as she gasped. It was opened to a full frontal picture of the Sibling, the massive bruising was cruelly exposed under the unforgiving lighting in the hospital. I watched Rachel start to reach for the picture. Melisa grabbed Rachel's hand before it touched down on the picture. Rachel's head came up to look at Melisa. Melisa shook her head at Rachel, tightened her hold on Rachel's hand and started to draw her out of the room. Rachel followed but was looking over her shoulder. I heard the front door open, and Sheila say hello to someone. I turned to see Jeremy walk inside the living room. He had a severe look on his face as he studied us. His eyes lit on the folder on the footrest. He walked up to it picked it up and started studying it . I saw the strain in his shoulders start and increase as he studied the information. We all watched him, waiting. Finally, he put the folder back down and sat down also. He put hands over his face, rolled his head back and looked at the ceiling. We all sat quietly for a time. I could hear the Siblings and Rachel outside. I could hear sobbing and a soft whisper trying to give comfort. I stood up and walked to the window. It only showed our backyard but it was something different. I watched a bird floating from branch to branch. The Brothers started a low murmur of conversation. Throughout it, I could hear the strong voice of the redhead accept comfort and return it. It was different than the tone of what was going on outside. It sounded like it was conversation to fill the time before the real conversation began. "We know what has to be done." Jeremy's voice cut through the conversation. I nodded while still facing the window. The room became silent as in that silence everyone else agreed. We all spent a moment inside ourselves. I nodded to the bird floating from branch to branch. Maybe in a way, it understood Siblings better than I did. But I understood myself well enough. I turned around in the military precision that had been so carefully ingrained into me. I looked at everyone in the room. I turned to look towards the door. Melisa, Rachel, Sheila and Sheryl were all watching me like everyone else in the room. It would have to be one of us, and as I looked around the room at my Brothers I knew I was the best choice in this case. "Do we know who the targets are?" I spoke clearly so that I would not have to repeat myself. "What?" from outside the room. I looked up to see a questioning look on Rachel's face. Melisa grabbed her from one side and Sheila from the other. They walked her towards the steps upstairs, Sheryl walked behind her helping. Rachel kept turning her head to watch me. There was fear in her eyes. The silence in the room had settled in deeper. Samantha looked at me. She turned to look at each individual Brother and waited until they nodded at her. A quiet vote had been taken and my course of action had just as quietly been approved. "I can handle everything here, Deborah." Samantha told the redhead. Deborah studied us all intently. She stood up and walked over to stand in front of me. She looked into my eyes, I studied her in return. She brought her hands up to my face and turned me to kiss my cheek. "Thank you, Brother. And welcome home." she whispered to me. She pulled her face back and I could see the tears were beginning to flow. The Sister gave way to the mother finally. She turned and walked up to stand at Edgardo's feet. She held her hand out to him. He looked up at her. She just waited. We all knew it was for his protection. He nodded finally and stood up. He looked at me and nodded. He followed Deborah out of the house. Everyone started looking between Samantha and myself. I moved to sit down the seat Deborah had vacated. "Yes, David we know exactly who did it." she turned to be able to speak to everyone in the room. "Stephanie hasn't told the cops who did it. Only her Mother." They all nodded. "Can they be exposed, preferably at the same time and together?" I asked. She got up and walked over to a large purse. She pulled another folder out of it, and started handing out the pictures she pulled out. I looked at the pictures. They showed two white males, one with a small beard. There was an aura about them. They looked angry at the world and unwilling to take the blame for what had to be something or maybe a lot of things that it had done to them. The pictures seemed to be mugshots. I looked at the attached police report. Driving under the influence, open container in the car. I nodded to myself. "We don't know yet." Samantha answered. "We don't anything about them right now except for who they are." "How long before we know more?" Jeremy asked. She turned to look at him, "We can get everything we need by Friday. If they are habitual that means they could be exposed on Saturday or Sunday depending." "Bad." I said. She turned to look at me. "Can we push it? And get the information I need by Wednesday or Thursday. I'll need at least a day to see the site or I'll be exposing myself." "I don't know Friday was the latest I figure before we can everything needed. It could go quicker but it depends on them." She replied. Everyone in the room nodded. "If that happens then it can't be Saturday. We'll have to wait another week." "True, but it might be that they can be exposed during a weekday." I raised an eyebrow and nodded, "That might actually be better depending on the site." Everyone nodded before I continued "But nothing much can be done until we have everything in front of us." Everyone nodded again. "I'll take care of the information gathering." Samantha volunteered. She continued looking from person to person, "Does anyone but David need the information also." Jeremy nodded, "If they both can't be exposed together. The work will have to be split." "Anything else?" Samantha asked. "Can we get two clean pieces and clean clothes?" I asked. "What type of pieces will you need?" one of the older Brothers asked. "9 mm, preferably Beretta, but Browning High Powereds will do also." I replied. "Berettas?" He looked at me questioningly. "Trustworthy, light, small. Not the pop of the High Powers but something I'm very used to." I explained. He nodded. "I'm gonna need silencers." I said also. "It can all be arranged.", the older Brother informed me. "What type of clothing?" another Brother asked. "That will depend on where the site is." I said, "But that can wait, all I really need is black and greys and somewhere to dispose of them safely." The Brother nodded. "Any physical aid?" Samantha asked me. "A driver and a watcher." I replied. "There's several Siblings in the area and depending on the site we can pick from them." Jeremy said. They all nodded. "Will you need for more than driving and watching?" Samantha asked. I thought about it for a second, "If they help the prep the will be easier and will give us a larger window with time." "Will it be complicated?" "No, it's all very simple but even an extra pair of eyes can reduce time." I said. "Then that's it." one of the Brothers I had not met said. Everyone looked around and finally nodded. We sat around talking about other things. I received my congratulations and was introduced to the Brothers in the room I had not met yet. Finally, everyone began to leave. Samantha was the last. She turned to me. "You've crossed over, David." she said. I nodded. "I'm happy for you, Brother." she reached up to stroke my cheek. "Melisa put something on your bed. You probably didn't notice it while you were changing. I would wear it from now on." With that she turned and walked out of the room. I stood there staring out the window for a little more time, before I walked into my room. There was a small black box in the center of the bed. I sat on the bed and reached to grab the box. It was the type of box that the jeweler gives you when you have just made a purchase. I opened the box to find a black stoned ring inside. On the left side, an etching of a man kneeling holding shackled hands up in supplication, and on the right side it's a female in the same pose. This one was different than the one I was wearing the stone unlike my own unmarked man had an etching on it also. Saying it was an etching was probably too much. It was one long white line that worked to make an outline of resting wolf staring into the distance to his right on the stone itself. I smiled to myself taking off my own crestless ring and putting on my new ring. -- +--------------' Story submission `-+-' Moderator contact `------------+ | story-submit@qz.little-neck.ny.us | story-admin@qz.little-neck.ny.us | | Archive site +--------------------+------------------+ Newsgroup FAQ | \ .../assm/faq.html> /
