Ciao Nostrumo >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> cut here with a sharp knife <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<< _The_Adventures_of_Samantha___________________________________________ 7 of place here, and he did not seem to recognize Sam from the old days at all. He and Sharon seemed at ease with each other too. Jane's date was one of the executives from the office where Sam used to work. He did not seem to recognize Sam either, even though Sam knew that Jane had posted before and after pictures in the ladies room at the office. Sam did not know the guy too well when he worked there anyway. Jane and he did not seem like a boss and his secretary either. In fact, he seemed to defer to her. Darlene and Cindy were also there, both looking stunning in what were, obviously, original designer gowns from their shop. He missed their dates' names, but the men reeked of old money. Like the night before, Tom made a point of dancing with each of the women. And, again like the night before, the ladies' dates each danced with Sam. Tonight, he enjoyed dancing with all of the men. A few other men came over, and Sam danced with them as well. Each was a perfect gentleman, and showed no signs of being on a "pick-up patrol." Of course, most of them were older anyhow. Tom got through with his rounds, and danced with Sam again. It took all of Sam's concentration to avoid pressing too close to him and repeating the earlier embarrassing situation. The band took a break around ten o'clock, and Tom took Sam outside on the patio to "get some fresh air." Actually, the patio was dark, and there were several pillars to conceal people. The first two they tried were occupied, but they found privacy, and kissed passionately behind the third. They returned to the ballroom when the strains of the music began again. The next few hours repeated the first. Tom danced with all the women again, and Sam danced with a lot of different men. None seemed so good to him as Tom, but he enjoyed the experience. Coffee was served when the band broke at midnight, then the third set of songs began. Tom and Sam kept to themselves for the rest of the evening. The dance ended at about two in the morning, again with more coffee. Obviously, the club did not want to lose any of its high priced members to drinking and driving accidents. Just before they left, Sam went to the ladies room. Susan was there already, and the two chatted briefly about the lovely dance. "Have fun tonight, Sam," Susan said, as she left the room. Sam went out to meet Tom for another night of pleasure, he thought. 51 Chapter - To The Beach Instead of driving to Tom's house, they got on the interstate highway, and drove for an hour towards the ocean. Tom had arranged for a motel room on the beach. "If we get an early start, we have more time at the beach," was his explanation. Sam didn't really believe it, but was not going to argue about it either. The drive, with his body pressed close to Tom's, heightened the anticipation of what was to come. Tom carried the suitcases into the motel room, and Sam just plopped down on the bed, heedless that the slit on his skirt was wide open. He had not realized how tired he was. Tom hung up his tuxedo before joining Sam on the bed. He too was tired, particularly since he had just finished the one hour drive, but he did not hurry in undressing Sam. He just went about it slowly, and with great tenderness, kissing every inch he exposed. They both collapsed in exhausted, but satisfied, slumber after a slow love making session. Sam woke with a start the next morning. He was disoriented for a moment, then, realizing what was going on, snuggled closer to Tom. He began kissing the powerful body. Tom began to stir in his sleep, and a big smile began to play on his face as Sam's kisses gave him pleasure. Sam hesitated a moment when he got to Tom's stomach. His whole life's experience and training made it seem abhorent and dirty to go any further, but his body would not be detered. He watched as Tom's penis stirred, reflecting the pleasure he was getting from Sam's kisses on his belly. Sam watched it fascinated. He had, of course, seen erections before, but never in this light. It just seemed to cry out for some of the same attention he'd given the rest of Tom's body. Tentatively, he gave the organ a small kiss. It stirred in return. Sam was fascinated at this reaction, and repeated it. The penis repeated it's stirring, and seemed to grow a little bigger. Sam kissed the organ a third time, this time with more feeling, and the organ visibly grew, twitching in its reaction. Some instinct in Sam's body took over, and he took the organ into his mouth. It grew like an old friend, stirring eagerly. Tom moaned, and came to the verge of wakefulness. He let out small moans of pleasure. Sam's body heard the moans, and redoubled their efforts to bring pleasure to this man who had served it so well the night before. Sam began working on the organ in earnest. Tom woke with a louder moan, and, knowing immediately what was happening, removed Sam from his penis. He laid Sam on his back, and mounted him. Sam was already well lubricated. Sam responded with several orgasms before Tom had one of his own. The pleasure seemed even greater for some reason. Tom did not resist when Sam held him after his orgasm. They lay coupled in their embrace for some time on the bed. Finally, Tom kissed Sam passionately, and rolled off. "Sam," Tom said quietly, "you really know how to wake a guy up." For some reason, the compliment pleased Sam immensely. He rolled over, and began kissing Tom again. "Woah!" cried Tom. "You may think of me as a stud, but I am not as young as I once was, and it does take a while to recover." Sam was disappointed, but accepted this with a kiss before he rolled onto his back. Tom just held him lightly, and they lay embracing each other for some time. After a while, Tom spoke, "Sam, while I could drink you with my eyes all day long, I do need a little something more solid to regain my strength. Get dressed. It's breakfast time." Sam would have much rather gone without breakfast for another encounter with Tom, he admitted to himself. However, he felt some hunger pangs too, and accepted the inevitable. Sam opened the suitcase, and pulled out the sun dress. It seemed just the right thing for this morning, he thought. He slipped into his panties, and decided not to wear the pantyhose. Maybe he was hoping for a rematch, and did not want the silly garment in his way. Tom was now dressed, and they went out into the morning sun arm in arm. Sam felt on top of the world this morning. They returned to the room after breakfast to change into swim clothes. Tom grabbed his trunks to change in the bathroom, but Sam stopped him in his tracks. "Come on, big boy," he teased, "it isn't anything I haven't seen before." Tom had to laugh, but slipped into the trunks right there. Sam was putting on Susan's bikini at the same time. Susan was a little smaller up top, and Sam filled the bikini bra to overflowing. He had to laugh at that. Tom obviously liked what he saw. 52 Chapter - On the Beach Tom laid a beach blanket on the sand, and they both lay down on it. Sam felt euphoric just being next to him on the blanket. "Oh, darn," Sam said, as the heat of the sun began to play on him, "I need some sun tan lotion." "Let me help," Tom offered. Sam surrendered to Tom's sure fingers applying the lotion. He also got his bikini bottom very wet. Tom laughed as he massaged the lotion up Sam's legs and discovered the damp area. "There is more to life than sex," he admonished. "Yea?" Sam answered. "What?" Tom laughed even harder, but did not answer. Tom went in the water, and began frollicing in the surf. Sam watched for a while. He really did not feel the desire to go in just yet. Sam found one of the books Susan had packed, and began reading it. It was Gwen's newest novel, not even released to the public yet. He opened the book and found that Gwen had autographed it for him, "To Sam Gordon, who keeps hurting me deeply, and who I can't help but forgive. Love, Gwen." Sam closed the book and tears began to flow down his face. "Sam," Tom said, now back from the ocean, "what's wrong?" "Oh," Sam replied, "it's nothing. Or maybe everything. I am so confused." "Maybe it would help if you talk about it," Tom offered. "I make a good listener." "Oh, thank you Tom. I just don't know what to say, or even how to put it into words." "We have all day," Tom counselled. "Just say whatever comes to mind." "Well," Sam wept, "I don't know where to begin. I'm confused about everything; about you and me, about the group, about being a woman or a man. Oh, hell I just don't know." "Maybe," Sam acknowledged. "I really don't know much about you. I know I like being with you, though." A little smile crept through Sam's tears. "Well," Tom began, "there really isn't anything exciting about me." Sam laughed now, "Ha! I find a lot exciting about you." "What you see before you was really born a week ago. I never had a girlhood. I never went to a prom, or was in a sorority. Instead, I was born of working class parents, had a normal boyhood, and just drifted into sales. "I liked girls, and that was my downfall. I chased them so much that some of them took exception to me, and you see the results in front of you. "The only trouble is that I kind of like being a girl, especially around you. That's where I get confused. "I know I shouldn't like anything about it, particularly in the circumstances I find myself. And, I don't like a lot of things, mostly the threat they have of keeping me as a girl forever if I don't behave, but I do like others." "Oh, I'm making a mess of this whole thing," Sam continued. "I know I was an idiot, and if I was really a girl, I probably would have voted to turn me into this, but I kind of resent it and like it at the same time." "Wow," Tom interjected. "Anyway, I can't help wanting men, but not wanting them at the same time." "Are you telling me you don't want me?" Tom asked. "Oh, no," Sam responded. "I think I'm in love with you. I just don't know." Tom took Sam in his arms to calm him. Sam melted in the welcoming arms. "Sam," Tom said softly, "I know it is hard on you, but I think I am in love with you too. "You know, I never liked you as a guy, but you turned into quite a woman." 53 Chapter - More Secrets Bared "Oh, Tom," Sam was crying openly now, "I KNOW I love you, but I can't see any future. I don't even really know how to be a woman, and I'm not sure if I want to be one either. In any case, the girls can change me back, or make my condition permanent, on a whim." Tom laughed, "Is that all?" Sam, still crying, was confused by this last statement. "Let me put your mind at ease," Tom said. "First of all, there really is a "fixer" shot. I talked to Gloria about it. It could make a bunch of money for my company. However, most of the subjects she's worked with don't even need it. The change stays in place, and reversible, for as long as they want. "I know they threatened you with the shot, but the needle they made a big show of is filled with saline solution. Gloria is much too responsible a scientist to leave something that devestating around without proper supervision. Anyway, no one has threatened you with it for several days now, have they?" Sam thought, and had to admit he had not even seen the needle since the Washington trip. "Sam," Tom continued, "the girls started this as a punishment. I think Carol still might be mad at you, but the others see you as just another one of the girls now. And Gloria is ecstatic that you have adapted to the female role so completely. I can't say it displeases me either. "They all agreed that they would turn you back to your old self any time you asked, but you would have to ask. They actually like having Samantha around now, as I do." "Oh, hell," Sam said, crying again, "that makes it even harder." "Well," Tom said, "we can't sit here and cry all day. Let's go down town and explore the gyp shops." Sam followed him numbly to the motel to change. They stripped their swim clothes off, and turned to dress. Sam openly stared at Tom's naked body. Something inside him made him reach out and grab Tom. He led the poor man to the bed by his penis. "Make love to me," Sam begged. "Please." Tom complied before they got dressed and went to visit the souvenier shops. Sam looked at the wares with new eyes. The gaudy baubles seemed more fun now, for some reason. He picked things over with pleasure. Tom bought him a big stuffed teddy bear, just for fun. They walked back to the motel hand in hand. "They will really turn me back if I ask?" Sam blurted. "Yep, any time you ask. But, to be selfish, I kind of hoped you wouldn't ask too soon," Tom said, looking a little down. "Well," Sam said with conviction, "it won't be today. Feed me!" Tom brightened, and they went out to one of the best seafood places on the beach. 54 Chapter - Mutual Presents After lunch, they decided to walk through a local shopping mall, rather than return to the beach immediately. Both of them were too full to care about the beach for the moment, and walking through the mall might walk some of the lethargy off. They had walked the length of the mall, and were seated on a bench put there for weary shoppers, when Tom dragged out his wallet. He took several bills out, and handed them to Sam. "Why don't you go over to Penney's and buy something pretty for yourself," he suggested. "I think I want to look in the computer store over there for a few minutes." He gave Sam's hand a firm squeeze, and walked off to the store. Sam did not really want to go shopping. He was quite content to stay with Tom, but he bowed to the inevitable. He took Tom's offering, and went to the indicated store. He also seemed to be getting pretty good at following suggestions. As he walked to the store, he folded the bills Tom had given him. He was stunned when he noticed that there were three hundred dollar bills, a couple of fifties, and some twenties. He could not recall ever having taken that much cash to go shopping. He went into the ladies department, now determined to buy something that Tom would really like. He began to look through the racks. He was considerably slower than Susan and the others, but he was getting the job done. At last he spotted a very pretty dress. The dress was a bright floral print in a short sleeved shirtwaist style. The synthetic fabric slipped sensuously through his fingers as he examined it. The neck was open, and had little tiny buttons down the bodice. The skirt was full, and the little buttons came down several inches below the waist line. He could tell the skirt was longer than he had been wearing, but thought the effect would impress Tom. He rushed to the dressing room to try the dress on. It fit beautifully, and the mirror showed that it flattered him even more than he had hoped. He stood entranced in front of the mirror for a few moments, studying the image. He really did not want to take it off. A sales lady approached, and watched him posing in front of the mirror. "Oh," she said, startling him a bit, "that looks lovely on you." "I love it," Sam told her. "It almost seems a shame to take it off to pay for it." "Well," the sales lady chuckled, "I guess I could just take the tags and let you wear it out." Sam studied his reflection again, and conceded, "You have a deal." The dress cost ninety dollars, but Sam though it was well worth the price. Sam went to the lingerie department. He thought the dress needed something on his legs to compliment it. He looked through the hose, and let another sales lady help him pick a shade to go with the dress. He specified stockings, not pantyhose. He was paying for the hose, when he remembered he didn't have anything to hold them up with him, so he had the lady rush back to get a garter belt for him. He knew Tom would like the stockings better than pantyhose. He left the store, and found a public ladies room. He rushed into a stall, and quickly slipped into the underwear. The mirrors in the rest room did not really show how well the stockings looked, but he saw enough to be satisfied. He went back to the mall to see if he could surprise Tom. Tom was seated on the bench they had occupied before going off in separate directions. The way his face lit up when he saw Sam in his new purchase confirmed that he had used Tom's money wisely. Tom stood, and they went to a coffee shop, arm in arm. "Sam," Tom spoke, "I don't think I ever spent so little money to reap such beauty." Sam flushed at the compliment, but was really very pleased at every word. Tom stood, and pulled something from his pocket. He opened the small box, and draped a necklace around Sam's neck. "Lovely," was all he said. Sam was impatient. He could not see the necklace, though he was pleased that Tom liked it so much. He fished around in his purse until he found a compact, and opened it. The diamond necklace glittered in the reflection, even through the layer of powder on the mirror. Sam could see why Tom had been impressed. "Oh, Tom," Sam said, "it is beautiful, and it goes so well with my new dress." Tom chuckled. "I bet it looks good without the dress too." Now Sam giggled, "Well, I think we will find that out shortly." They walked out to the car with Tom's arm securely around Sam's waist. Back at the motel, they began changing into swim suits. Sam was very careful to lay out the new dress, so it did not wrinkle. He undressed slowly, both to give himself time to make sure he didn't muss the clothes and to make sure Tom got a chance to enjoy his view. Tom had changed quickly, and was, indeed, enjoying the view. He watched every move, every jiggle of Sam's breasts. Finally, he said, "See, the necklace does look good without the dress." Sam reddened, but laughed. The glitter of the stones did look quite nice on his neck, he saw in the dresser mirror. 55 Chapter - The Sands of ? They went out to the beach, where Sam laid on the blanket and read, while Tom played in the surf. Sam really wanted to join him, but was afraid it would ruin his hair, and he might lose the necklace in the water. He made do with Gwen's new book. Sam had never seen what women saw in all those romantic novels he saw in supermarkets. He had never read any, but he did not read much of anything. However, he had decided they were not for him. They were women's things, after all. Gwen's book was a romance, and he found himself getting entwined in the story line. He identified with the heroine, for some reason. He read chapter after chapter in rapt attention. He did not notice that Tom had returned until he plopped down on the blanket, and began massaging his back. It felt good. He looked up from his book and smiled. "Is that a new one from Gwen?" he asked. "Yes," Sam answered. "I never read any of her books before. She is really quite good." Tom laughed, "I have not read much of her either, but I know she is good. So does her publisher, and her agent." "I don't want to talk about Gwen right now," Sam said. "OK, what do you want to do?" Tom asked, with a mischieveous grin on his face. Sam found himself laughing, "There will be plenty of time for THAT later." Tom laughed as well. "Tom," he blurted, "how come you never married Jane?" Tom laughed before beginning his reply. "Well," he began, "I almost did, but things just did not work out right. I was going to ask her to marry me after my senior year at college, but my father passed away, and I had to leave school. "I spent the next few years building the company, and did not get much chance to see her. Over that time things had changed somehow. "You see, I found that I did not love Jane any more than any of the other girls. I love them all deeply. Picking one, even Jane, from the group would have ruined the special thing we all have together. "Of course, I would really like to marry the whole bunch of them, but they don't seem too fond of the idea of moving to some country where harems are legal." Tom laughed again, and Sam joined in. "Anyway," he continued, "I think the girls and I have something more special than the normal boy - girl romantic love, and changing that would be a real tragedy. I think the girls are of the same mind too, though I am sure that any of them would be my wife if I were to ask." "Why so serious, Sam?" Tom changed the subject. "This is supposed to be a day of fun at the beach." "Oh," Sam answered, "I am having fun. In fact, this is the most fun I have had in years. I am just wondering how an adorable hunk like you escaped the altar." "It was easy," Tom laughed. "They all wouldn't come to Utah at the same time!" Tom grabbed Sam's hand, and pulled him up. They walked hand in hand down the beach. Sam felt strangely proud to be seen with Tom this way. Even the open stares of the other guys on the beach did not bother him. They went back to the motel, and Tom went into the shower to get the salt off him. Sam took off the bikini, and wrapped a towel around his body, waiting for his turn. 56 Chapter - Emergency Action Tom called something from in the shower, but Sam couldn't make it out. He went into the tiny bathroom, and Tom's hand snatched him into the shower with him. Sam laughed as Tom began rubbing soap all over him. The slippery substance made Tom's hands glide over his body in a really sensuous manner. He liked it very much. Tom spun him around and, the jets of water rinsed them both off. They were both laughing and enjoying the wet shower, when it dawned on Sam that his head was under the nozzle. "Oh darn!" Sam exclaimed, hurrying out of the shower cubicle. "What's the matter, Sam?" "Oh, I got my hair all wet, and I have no idea how to fix it. It is probably ruined," Sam explained, now sobbing a little. "I'm sorry," Tom tried to apologize. "No," Sam countered, "it wasn't your fault. I knew not to get my hair wet, but I was having such a good time with you in the shower, it got wet anyhow. Now, you will probably be stuck with a scarecrow for the rest of the day." "But a nice looking scarecrow," Tom laughed lightly. Sam playfully took a jab at Tom. It did not do anything to solve his problem though. "You mean Susan and the others really didn't show you how to take care of your hair?" Tom asked, seriously now. "No," Sam admitted, "they may have tried, but I was not a very good student for the first few days. I can barely get lipstick on my face." "Well," Tom said brightly, "we can solve the immediate problem. I'll just drive you to a beauty shop. They can dry your hair and fix it up right." "Oh, Tom," Sam said, "that would be nice, but you have already spent so much on me, and I really don't want to spoil the rest of the day for you." "Don't be silly," Tom countered, now drying Sam off with one of the towels. "We'll get you all fixed up, and then you can help me enjoy the rest of the day. Deal?" Sam brightened, and agreed. They found a beauty shop only a couple of doors down from the motel. Tom insisted on walking with Sam there, and they went in together. "I am afraid I ruined this lady's hairdo," Tom explained to the girl in the shop. "I was washing the car, and sprayed water all over her hair. I promised to get somebody to fix it for her. Can you help us?" The girl laughed, and Sam was laughing at the big lie himself. "You came to the right place," the girl answered. "I'll just dry her and brush her out. It should only take a half hour or so." "Great!" Tom said. "Fix her up right. I'll go down the street for a bit and be back in a half hour to settle up for the damages." Tom left, and Sam was put under the dryer. Sam was already dried and combed out when Tom returned. He was carrying a big bunch of flowers, which he gave to the salon girl. "Think of the flowers as a tip," he laughed. "Now, how much do I owe you for fixing her better than new?" Sam and Tom left after he paid the agreed upon price, and added a handsome tip. "Washing the car, huh?" Sam said, laughing. "It was the first good excuse I could think of," Tom answered, laughing. "I never had a car with as nice a body as you." Sam loved the compliment, and showed it as he kissed Tom right there on the sidewalk. 57 Chapter - The Road Home "Well," Tom said, "I guess we had better get our things together and head on back. Tomorrow is a working day for us poor wage slaves." Sam was disappointed that the day was going to end so soon, and must have shown it. "We will stop at a nice restaurant before we head back, though," he added. "I'm still a growing boy, and I like to show you off." Sam just leaned closer to him for the rest of the walk back to the motel. They had dinner in a classy seafood restaurant, and began the drive back to the city. Sam was full of food, and Tom had his arm in the accustomed position across his shoulders. He was satisfied. "Sam," Tom said, "I really did enjoy the day with you. You did kind of surprise me with that dress, though. How did you know I liked my women in dresses?" Sam giggled, "I just picked it in hopes of pleasing you. Looks like I guessed right." "The only thing that pleased me more was taking it off you," Tom laughed. Sam giggled, "Oh, you are just like a man!" "I have to plead guilty to that," Tom laughed. They continued the small talk during the drive. They never directly mentioned the sex, but most of the allusions were to it. Somewhere past the halfway point, Sam took Tom's arm from his shoulders, and planted the hand on his knee. He would never have thought he would do something like this, but it just seemed right. He knew his intentions were not misunderstood as Tom's hand began exploring the leg. Too soon, they pulled up in front of the apartment house, and Tom took Sam upstairs, the suitcase in his hand. He kissed Sam in the hallway before ringing the bell. Susan opened the door, laughing, "Ah, the wayward ones return!" "Yes, ma'am," Tom laughed. "They call me 'bring 'em back alive Bender!'" All three were laughing now. Tom refused coffee, saying he had a business trip to prepare for. He left a few minutes later. "Well," Susan asked, "how was your day at the beach?" "Oh," Sam answered, "merely terrific!" They both laughed. "Oh, what a lovely dress, Sam," Susan complimented. "Where did you get it?" "Tom bought it for me," Sam answered lightly. "Tom?" Susan was surprised. "Tom Bender? If you put all he knows about fashion on the head of a pin, you could still write the Lord's prayer with room left over!" "Oh," Sam laughed. "He gave me the money and told me to buy something pretty. I thought this was, and bought it with his money. He seemed to like it." "I can imagine," Susan said. "It is very nice. You must have learned something in the past ten days." "I learned a lot of things," Sam said, suddenly serious. "Susan, can we talk a little?" "Sure, Sam," Susan answered. "What is on your mind?" "Susan, when you girls first changed me, I did not like the idea at all," Sam began. "But, as time went on, I found I was actually enjoying some of it, particularly with Tom. "Now, Tom told me all about you girls agreeing to turn me back to my old self if I asked. He also told me about the last needle being a hoax." Susan started to say something, but Sam stopped her. "Well, I think maybe I should stay a girl for a little longer," Sam said, thinking of Tom. "I know I have a lot to learn, and you might not want me to, but I think I'd like to stay this way for a little longer." "Well, at least as long as Tom likes me this way," Sam concluded weakly. "Sam," Susan replied, "I don't know what to say. Of course you can stay this way if you want. I have come to think of you as a little sister anyway." The two embraced, tears running down their cheeks. ---End -- +--------------' Story submission `-+-' Moderator contact `------------+ | story-submit@qz.little-neck.ny.us | story-admin@qz.little-neck.ny.us | | Archive site +--------------------+------------------+ Newsgroup FAQ | \ .../assm/faq.html> /
