Point your browser at: fttp://users.aol.com/ladycyrrh for access. Some people have told me they've been having trouble getting into it. If such is the case, try fttp://members.aol.com/ladycyrrh/index.html. I can get in either way, either from AOL or the Netscape 3.0 browser I use at the Fortune 100 company I work for. If you can't get in, keep trying. Servers have problems all the time. AOL is notorious for access problems, so one day it is likely the Annex will pack up and move to a more hassle-free site. Note to writers: It's always a good idea to include the address to your story site or homepage when posting, if you have one, so others can find your work (and it helps me in creating a link to your site.) The codes are as follows: ASS = alt.sex.stories; ASSB = alt.sex.stories.bondage; ASSM = alt.sex.stories.moderated; ASSG = alt.sex.stories.gay. Elvira [C+] When posted: 7/27/97 Where posted: ASS, ASB (alt.sex.bestiality) Author: Albrecht Address: albrecht@alfaskop.net Website: Furry Pleasures - www.alfaskop.net/~albrecht I don't know if the author posted this in response to my call for female fur stories or not, but there it was. A few years back there was a popular spiritual self-growth book called "Women Who Run with the Wolves." This story should have been called "Women Who Fuck with the Wolves." Elvira (yes, the horror movie hostess) tells this story in first-person present tense. She lives in a cabin and one night a pack of wolves breaks in. The pack leader takes her for his mate and they have sex together. Obviously, you can't take this story too seriously, and neither did the writer. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't great either. I would have liked more emotional, visual and tactile descriptions of the sex than "He makes one final thrust of his powerful body and I scream YES, YES, YES!!! That's it, baby keep it up, OH PLEASE, OH PLEASE GIVE ME ALL OF YOUR CUM - SHOOT ME UP!!!" This was an original idea, but it needs a more dignified treatment and, let's face it, a plot. It's also really annoying when WRITERS USE ALL CAPS LIKE THIS FOLLOWED BY THREE EXCLAMATION POINTS!!! to emphasize exciting parts of the text. A New TG Story: A Night with My Girlfriend [B] When posted: 7/26/97 Where posted: ASS Author: Tami Address: cdtami@tethys.net A man comes home to have sex with his sexy, rather passive girlfriend who's waiting for him in a baby-doll nightie and a garter belt. Same old stuff? Think again. The ending of this won't surprise readers who've seen "The Crying Game" but it was a neat O. Henry twist for the uninitiated. In last week's Annex Reviews I speculated on the reasons why a woman would fantasize about having sex with a cross-dressed man rather than another woman. Here's another one: She doesn't have a sexual interest in women but wants to explore what it feels like to have mutually satisfying sex that is tender, yet hot, with herself as the dominant partner. As most men wouldn't stand for being a pretty love-toy in their masculine role, they are "feminized" to make the fantasy work. I don't know if this reason makes sense to anyone or not, but it sounds plausible to me. I have thought now and then of putting my boyfriend in a dress, but he just isn't pretty enough. The Landlady [A-] When posted: 7/24/97 Where posted: ASS, ASSM Author: HRDROB Address: mobile2@ix.netcom.com This story made me laugh. I wonder if it was meant to be a kind of Asian femdom. The callow 18-year-old narrator is very happy to rent his first apartment, but soon loses his job and finds he can't pay the rent. Mrs. Pang, his landlady, comes up to complain. She is short, middle-aged, stocky, Chinese, and very domineering. The narrator soon finds himself licking her pussy to make up the missing rent. I live in a city with a large Asian population and I have many Asian friends, so when I encountered Mrs. Pang I experienced a sense of deja vu. She's real. I've met her in real life. She don't take no shit from NOBODY. There were a few awkward uses of English in this story--"non- caring lifestyle." "She said with little interest"--and I've never heard any of my Chinese or Korean friends say "looky." They don't have problems with adding the "ing" on the ends of words. But otherwise this was a fun read with a good use of dialogue, and there's a clever ending, too. The Desk [B] When posted: 7/26/97 Where posted: ASS, ASSM Author: Suki Address: suki@fish.com Here's another short story by a four-letter author whose name ends with "i." A busy executive buys a very special desk. He tethers his slave underneath it so she can service him with her mouth as he holds meeting in his office, with no one the wiser. I liked this idea, but it needs more development and rounding out...like why the couple are risking the danger of discovery, what it feels like for a man to keep himself from coming in the midst of a boring meeting (did the other guys wonder why he was squirming so much?) and what it would feel like for the woman to be crammed in the leg-space of a desk penetrated by two vibrators and treated as indifferently as one of those automatic foot-massaging machines that were the rage a few years back. Theme Park Punk Hunk - Part III [A-/B+] When posted: 7/26/97 Where posted: ASSG Author: Avitar Address: avitar_two@hotmail.com I couldn't find Part I and II of this story, but Part III, the conclusion, was pretty good. The narrator is in his mid-twenties and works as a doctor's aide. He's been having an affair with 19-year-old Chris (the "amusement park hunk" of the title?) It's Chris's first gay affair, and the narrator has to show him the ropes (not THOSE ropes, silly.) The problem is Chris's friend Aaron also has a crush on him. Events take a tragic turn, though things eventually end happily for all concerned. The story was oddly written in that it suddenly switched from a third to first person narrative and the dialogue was jumbled up into long, single paragraphs, which may be a fault of the server. But I liked how the emotional drama and repercussions of "coming out" were balanced with the sex in this story. It had a sweet, wistful tone that seemed to be wish fulfillment on the part of the author. Sometimes the heart writes what the mind can't or won't do in real life. Website Review Site Name: Alteregos Address: www.lungfish.com./alteregos/ Owner: "a man in a small town on the Coast of California" (in his own words.) Welcome to the start of a new feature of the Annex, the sex-oriented homepage review. My first subject is this site because 1) it's such an interesting example of its genre and 2) as far as I know its creator doesn't post to ASS. As anyone who hasn't been asleep for the past five years knows, the web has created a new medium for self-expression in the form of personal web sites which chronicle their creator's artwork, music, fiction, essays, and poems--the conceit being their lives are so fascinating surfers will visit the site again and again to scarf up their latest musings. The writers of sex stories are not immune. Check out Maryanne Mohanaj's web site, for example. This site is a good example of a running on-line diary. The interface of this site was very interesting. A series of blocks with rune-like carvings (nice amateur work in Photoshop) give navigation instructions and lead one into the separate worlds of Velcro, Vapor, Vagabond and Void. The quartet of Vs are described as "the four egos maintaining this place" the premise being the creator of the site has split himself into multiple personalities who each express a different facet of his creativity: Vagabond "keeps our writings about our life and ourselves" Velcro is "a humorist" Vapor is "introverted and introspective, keeper of our stories and songs" and Void is "an Enigma." To cut to the chase, the sex stories are in Vapor's world. They all seem to be about I'm-too-cool-for-my-own-good slackers in their 20s. "Alice" is about a strange rape that decays into "Waiting for Godot." "Mary Corbin and Ar" concerns a threesome. There's lots of talk about sex but little action, in the manner of Plainsmans' (?) Princess and Friends story that appeared a while back (note to author--this was before I was reviewing, so I'm sorry I don't remember your name or the correct title of the story.) "James" was, in my opinion, the best of the bunch, about the het and bi adventures of a mixed up guy. All of this author's stories can be classed as "literary" which mean they can be taken as self-indulgent and obscure by some and poetic by others. Overall, the site felt top-heavy with interface and light on the content. I like the creativity behind this site and the swell use of image maps, but the concept of multiple personalities was way too "twee"--as the English would put it--for my taste. The creator is attempting to play off the anonymity of cyberspace and demonstrate the many masks one can wear to cover that anonymity, but fails in that he comes off at times like a pretentious twit.
